I sorta assumed that coils take on that color after juicing them; all my coils look like that (or close), and they've worked and tasted just fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but maybe someone else can shed some light on this and tell us if something is wrong!

So I just got my new Caravela clone a few days ago and I'm loving it! The only problem is that whenever I tighten/loosen the locking ring, it also tightens/loosens the switch. Is there any way I can use my locking ring while keeping my switch properly screwed in?

As much as I would have loved to see Floyd, Tull, Zeppelin, Stones, Doors, etc., I'm pretty happy with the shows I go to now. That's the good thing about liking progressive/melodic hardcore: $10 to see 5-7 bands up close with no barrier! Not like these pop singers who charge $300 for lawn seats...

I was very active in high school, but that was about at least 3 years ago. Four years of intense marching band and drumline! My instructor used to make us run miles with our drums above our heads. Looking back at it now, I'm shocked I was able to do that while smoking :ohmy:
