The only way to make your security camera system completely secure is to keep it off a network (closed circuit). If you need external access (like from your smartphone or laptop away from home) you will be vulnerable. In reality, would anyone really care if you walk around your house in your...

I've been using both 75 and 75c mods for the past year and they both are about the same for vape time using similar builds on all of them. I was using LG HE2's and just got new batteries, Samsung 30Q's. One thing I noticed on the 75c is that the battery charge indicator doesn't always work. It...

You got married? Congrats!!! I love all animals but I much prefer big dogs. My dog is 65lbs so medium sized but he's awesome.

I have 1 blue and 2 black Lipo battery checkers. They're awesome but the piezo buzzer can be annoying. I took mine apart and put a piece of electrical tape over the buzzer so it's much quieter.

I don't but I have used my friend's a couple of times and it works well. Had I known about the lifetime replacement guarantee including batteries, I would've got a Ridgid drill. My friends with the drill love them. 1 did get a battery replaced with no issues.

Most of Dewalt cordless drills have switched to LiIon years ago. They still have some NiCd powered drills but only for legacy tools that are being phased out. There are adapters to use the new batteries in older drills but why bother when a kit with a new drill, 2 batteries and a charger is not...

When my Dewalt batteries died, I looked at rebuilding the battery packs and it still cost over $40 per pack for the sub-c cells (NiMH, I think). Not worth rebuilding with NiCd no matter how cheap the cells are. I got a brand new drill with 2 new LiPo batteries for only a few bucks more.

There are a lot of new vehicles with stop/start motors. The have special starters that can handle the excess starts. I know some can turn off the "feature". Multiply the cap of gas time millions of cars and it adds up. It's not to save gas but reduce emissions because apparently, global...

Built one of the Siren 2 earlier and have been vaping it tonight. First build leaked half the tank. Cleaned it out and rewicked and it seems to work now. Could've been an o-ring that wasn't seated right. The 24mm tank fits the XPV perfectly. The gunmetal finish is uneven around the top cap but...

A piece of black tape will fix that :p I bought a $30 TPMS reset tool off eBay years ago when I got new wheels and tires for my truck. Cheaper than the factory tool and works great. What make and model do you drive?

My truck gets 12-13 mpg around town with some highway driving. I get up to 16-17mpg when I'm on a road trip and feather the gas. Luckily, I have the 36g gas tank option so I can drive about 550-600 miles per tank on the highways or 400-450 around town. $60-100 fill ups kinda suck though. I use...

Quick update on the SL. I got a "Short" message on the screen twice today. Loosening and tightening the atomizer fixed it but I remember I got that with the other Yihi's I had. No issues with the XPV (as one would expect). I don't have dainty hands so the SL feels a bit better in my hands as the...

A few years ago, my Dewalt drill batteries (nicad) died and batteries were as much as a new drill so I picked up a Bosch LiIon drill. Then I found out that Ridgid (HD exclusive?) has lifetime warranty for their power tools including batteries. The Bosch drill has been awesome for me and the...

When I was 18, my parents bought my sister a new car and gave me her old Rabbit 4spd. They said they would buy me a new car if I sold my motorcycle so I kept driving the rabbit until it died and bought my own car (Honda Prelude 4WS). I kept my motorcycle :). My F150 gets 13-17mpg

F1 tech trickling down to street cars. Most exotics have some sort of hybrid drivetrain. Years ago, my friend worked for a tech website and was given an electric motorcycle to test for a few weeks. There's a slipper clutch so you don't get full torque all at once and it was actually really...

There was a study done a few years ago on a prius (I think) and a Hummer H2 had a smaller carbon footprint. It included manufacturing to 5 yrs of 12k/yr drving. I hate prius drivers. So I've been vaping with the SL since I got it set up and it's not bad. I haven't had a burnt hit since the...
