I've been using the Shiseido cotton pads for most of the last year and the only real advantage they have is the ease of repeatability in wicking, because you can cut the same width fairly easily. At the rate I'm using it up, I'll have enough to last me several years. I've tried plain cotton...
It may be a question of a number of factors, in my opinion. How many button activations on any given day for a mod? I mean, 5 clicks on and off, a couple hundred clicks a day of usage, that's 5000-6000 clicks a month easily for the average mod. Combine that with the fact that liquid leaks out...
Using a torch anneals the wire (if you heat the wire before you wind your coil), making it far easier to wind a tight coil. It's not a requirement but it sure works nicely. Everybody does things the way they're comfortable doing.
I use a small butane torch with one handed ignition; handy and...
Exactly where I'm at currently! I DIY and enjoy coming up with new recipes, but I've found the gear that works for me and have several recipes I make in larger batches. But to each his (or her) own; everybody has their thing and that's what makes us individuals!
One thing the OP has never indicated and no one has asked: how much juice are you going through in a day?
And you might want to try a quick test to determine your overall hydration levels (skin turgor test). Pinch the skin on the back of your hand for a few seconds and let go. If it snaps back...
Technically, the smoking ban in hotel rooms is due to fire hazards and the bloody stench that simply can't be removed without steam cleaning the whole room! I've stayed in seven different hotels in the last six weeks, vaped in every one of them with no issues. You'll note that most hotel rooms...
Actually, it makes a pretty big difference! The amount of current that is flowing through the switch is determined by the battery voltage divided by the value of that resistor used to turn it off. It would really depend on the switch you are using as well (its rating); running it beyond it...
I've had no issues with them melting. One another note, things can be sterile, yet still be unclean. They are not interchangeable terms. In most cases, flavoring components can be removed by an alcohol rinse, which acts like a solvent for most of them.
Completely second this ^^^
I think that a lot of people are under the impression that people who use Japanese cotton pads are buying them repackaged from vape shops. That is usually not the case! It's great stuff and consistent like nothing else!
I drip on both the coil and cotton and a little in the juice well. The whole point of the juice well is to act as a reservoir for liquid, so might as well use it for its intended purpose! My two cents!
Basic Google image search just turns up the Pinterest pin it was originally displayed here. It's pretty clear that it is a laminated wood enclosure and it does look quite nice! Good luck with your search!
I travelled pretty extensively very recently and received absolutely no hassles from any of the screeners. One actually chatted me up as I was repacking my carry-on, wanted to know how I liked my box mod! YMMV
