    Who'd a thunk it...

I don't see why you would ever need to own a mechanical mod. A modern variable watt mod will run up as high as you ever need to go. Ohm's law is cool and worth knowing but I just make sure I have good batteries, set the wattage and let my mod worry about the details. SeeYa, Red

    itaste 134 mini problems

Megamain, welcome to ECF. I'm no expert but I do use a 134 mini. I have used it for several months and I often experience a weird buzz from the unit. I first noticed it as a vibration in my little finger at the bottom of the unit, by the battery cap. It's my understanding that this is caused by...

Help - tank too hot (TFV4 Nano)

Hi Liz, First thing, double check and make sure that your mod is really running at 20 watts. 20 watts is not terribly hot but on a small tank the heat can build up pretty quickly. Batteries - 20 watts at 3.5 volts is only 5.7 amps so you're probably safe there. Just be sure that it's the tank...

    am i doing something wrong

I have used the ego AIO and found it to be extremely hot on my lips and mouth. I changed to a much larger drip tip to cool the vapor. Also you could try a 1.0 or 1.5 ohm coil until you get used to it. I use q-tips to clean the tank. Red

Spitback on a Smok Micro One

Hi Torch, welcome to ECF. Spitback is usually caused by hotspots on the coil causing the juice to pop instead of vaporizing. Try reducing the power and see if that helps. And as ddirtyvapes says try a different coil to see if that's the source of the problem. Good luck- Red

2 inches - WOW! Is it cold too or do you have to rush out to play in it before it melts? Up here in MI it's a weird one, above freezing more than below and 40 degrees again by the weekend. Look out for those crazy drivers - Red

Protank 2 and burnt taste. What's happening...?

ferinlaw, Hi guy, you still here? I'm currently vaping a PT2 and I've had the same kind of trouble myself from time to time. This time it's going ok. I'm using a Kanger 1.5 ohm coil at 3.5 volts and it is doing just fine. I'm vaping green apple at either 60% or 80% PG. I find the light clear...

    Nicotine Wean?

Computerguy - I told a non-smoker friend that reducing my nic level is not an issue, I'm still working on quitting smoking. If your tastes change you'll cut back, if not then you don't. It's not mandatory. Andria - "Shoot, I was usually starting to "nic out" when I put the last bite in my...

    Help with voltage?

Welcome Alex, The burnt taste is from too much heat/too little juice at the coil. That's why you start low and work your way up. I usually vape a 1.8 ohm coil at about 3.5 volts. Find an Ohm's Law calculator and plug that in to find out what wattage that is. Put in 1.8 ohm and 3.5 volts and and...

    A few basic hardware questions

Hi CK, Plumber huh? Modern quality tanks like a Nautilus are not prone to leaking, but I will mention that if a tank is left in a warming environment the warming air in the tank will expand and can put pressure on the liquid sometimes forcing it out. Not the tank's fault, usually not a disaster...
