I think this is the biggest issue I've seen. Makes me more and more certain that starting a blog or you tube channel on flavors would be a good idea.

Sometimes I'll go get some e-juice that's 0mg nic and add it to try and change the flavor to something I'll like. It does take some experimenting but it can save you from tossing a juice.
