Sorry, Darlin'... I didn't mean to freak you out. SS is perfectly fine and safe to use on mechs, it just isn't my preference. I had the same issue with Ti. It worked well enough, but I just wasn't quite happy with the vape I was getting from it.

I don't have a recipe for it, Love... I bought teh premium stuff at the vape shop. :( Not really anything to watch out for. I just don't like the way it vapes on a mech because it seems inconsistent to me when the resistance fluctuates. I don't have that problem with NiChrome.

I guess what I meant was that I really don't like using SS builds on mechs because of the unstable resistance of the wire as it gets heated. It works okay on regulated mods, but I just use NiChrome if I'm not gonna be running TC.

Yep, I've been using NiChrome for years and it is still my favorite. I usually don't keep a coil longer than about two weeks. With the juice I'm running right now, I have to rinse/dryburn every day and usually rewick entirely every other day. It is VERY gunky... (Beard Co. #24 - Salted Caramel...

Completely agree! Not to mention, when the coil gets gunky, just open up the atty, fire it up to get the coil hot, then rinse the coil/wick under the sink. Most of the gunk pops right off. Dab the wick with a paper towel and fire it a few times to dry it most of the way out, re-wet with juice...

That's the only wick I use. It's all I've used for the past two or two and a half years or so now... I don't care what anybody says, I've not tried anything else that works better for me. :)

Typically I do dual coils with NiChrome 80, 24g, 3mm ID, 6 wraps spaced and wick with rayon. I forget what it ohms out at, but that's my normal go-to. :) Now go hug dat Mage!! :lol::lol:

Squonking is definitely not a bad thing. And there are squonkers out there now that will run TC. I haven't really looked at it, but I'd be willing to bet that the Fuchai Squonk will run TC. YMMV with Sigelei, of course... ;) But as far as over squonking or unnecessary squonking... different...

Hmmmm... I can't imagine that it would be much more restricted than the Wasp Nano... that l'il guy is absolutely killin' it on my mech squonker right now, though! With a simple 24g NiChrome 80, 3mm ID, 4/5 wrap at 0.3Ω; this thing is putting out decent little clouds and flavor for DAYZZZZ!!
