I would say yes that is terminal for the LiPo, has it gone all puffed up as well? They can be recovered by using an extremely slow trickle charger (5-10mA) but even so it is not guaranteed.

I think I may have broken the screen putting the board in though it was fine for a while, then I tried to reposition it and now it is all Stripey.... Still vapes like a champ and I can decipher the numbers just about, so it still works it is just quite annoying. Has anyone else had this happen...

I did look at the 26650 batteries, but for the 20A that the SX350 needs there are limited batteries in that size, I think the largest capacity I found was 3100mAh which is only 500mAh more than a VTC5 so I would rather the slimmer tube, however I do have some 30mm stainless tube so should some...

I am getting 12.6mm from the face of the LED screen to the rear of the coil. This is directly measured off of the .igs file, so i cannot confirm this with physical measurements as my chip is at work.

Yes it is set in epoxy resin so is not removable, also soldered to other components as it's the coil for a transformer.
