Tourlounette You do really nice work. Style and class is what makes a pv look nice to me. And from what Ive seen in your polishing of the vamo you have drilled it . And working with very simple tools makes doing the job that much harder.

XFooYen Brass can be made harder than aluminum. It can be machined easier than aluminum if the machinist working it knows what they are doing . Now programing a CNC to cut Brass is differnt than aluminum. So they would have to twink the program they are running to cut it. And change the bits...

chrism Question are you using the stainless steel for a wick and a conductor and the copper wire to make electrical contact for vaporizing. If so copper will release harmful fumes when heating the stainless. Just my thoughts Dan
