    Help Opening up iTaste MVP

Quick Question: Do I need to disassemble the entire unit (top and bottom screws + slide out) in order to gain access to the center pin connection? Or can I just get at it from the top? I removed the screws and am realizing how tight things are inside, I don't want to yank anything. Thanks again.

    Help Opening up iTaste MVP

Thanks guys. This isn't the the first things I've built, soldered, or repaired so this should be as easy as it gets (as long as I don't have to re-solder the center pin and thread it through ... that can be a b|tch)

Thanks guys. Sucks because I already have a security bit set, but it stops at a T8.

    Help Opening up iTaste MVP

Hey guys, I need to repair a MVP that had it's center pin disconnected from the circuit board. Does anyone know what type and size of security bit I can use to open them? It has an odd flower shaped pattern that looks slightly different than a hex or allen bolt. Thanks.

    My quest to quit vaping

Vaping is more of a *hobby* than smoking - and for that reason alone it can be hard to give it up. Good luck.

What one thing that really changed your vaping experience for the better

You spoiled vapeheads! The game changer in my day was the advent of the 5v mod.

My First Mechanical PV (lots of questions!)

Are both of these atomizers compatible with my Magneto? Yes Is one of the two types of coil system generally better then the other? The Aga is a true rebuildable. The Nova can be rebuilt, but the nova is a beginner's tank in comparison - and it comes with two extra "heads" you can install...

Old ECF predictions about vaping that have come true.

I was just checking old threads and I noticed a thread that I started 3 years ago: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/58746-whats-next-evolution-e-cigs.html Just about everything that was mentioned in the thread from 2010 is a reality today, which includes: -...

    Flexible 22 gauge wire?

I'll let you know how it goes. Anything is better than the crap that is rigged up into ego batteries.

    Blatant Disrespect IMHO

As expected this thread has degenerated into a political pissing contest. It's simple. The majority is usually ignorant and uninformed. "Obnoxious" vaping in public has its consequences, and it's same reason why little kids can't run around with 1:1 replica toy guns that are painted...

    Shady e cig vendors

To play devil's advocate here: There are always going to be shady dealers, online or not. Obviously, a B&M shop is going to cost more than ANY online business (e-cig related or not). True, that repairing an eGo battery (other than for personal use), is a waste of time - and I don't see how it...

    Flexible 22 gauge wire?

Thanks for the help. I ordered a few rolls. They are pretty cheap - but the shipping+ tax is killer. Do you know of a vendor that sells the same type of gear but without the $7 shipping?

Thanks - do you have any personal experience using it?

    Flexible 22 gauge wire?

Hey guys, I'm looking for some small (22ga+) wire to work with a small PC board. I'm thinking copper might be the best here (instead of steel or silver), since tiny wires tend to break easily. I need something that can resist a few bends - also that when heated (soldered), doesn't become...

    ithaka on fasttech

I mean to say that there are some $h|tty clones out there, but the Ithaka is not one of them. ECF censored my cuss words. Basically, for $35 the Chithaka is NOT bad at all.

    ithaka on fasttech

I got mine and got chance to compare it with my friend's genuine Ithaka. Similarities: The weight and quality is pretty damn close. We didn't try swapping parts, but he did say that the threading was pretty decent. There as nothing crooked and everything fits as it should. Even the plastic...
