Anyone have consistency issues while using a kick2? Sometimes I push the button, and it doesn't fire. If I move the button a little bit, while maintaining pressure, it will start working.

That's strange. Maybe try the adjustable post without the o-ring, just to make sure thats not causing any resistance. Also with the o-ring removed, you might be able to work the threads in and out, in case there is a burr or something? It does sound like there might be something up with the post...

vaptamist - Been using my new top cap for a few days now. No problems here. Just unscrewed the adjustable post from the original top cap, and screwed it into the new one.

Some detailed info on servicing the locking ring would be cool. Is the positive contact even user serviceable? It looks like you only have 2/3 parts, the top cap (either 1 or 2 parts), and the contact assembly. If it can be taken apart, I'd love a video of that as well.

Also, with 2 washers, it will fire when locked. So, be careful using 2. Might end up just using one...

Nope :/ It will auto fire with just one washer the way I had it set up (18650 + KFL nano).

So I just ordered a new cap. Be careful, because when you add it to the cart, you'll need to select the style again. I didn't notice and accidentally ordered a polished traditional, and wanted to get the polished mag wheel design. Going to send them an email and hopefully get that changed...

So the stock non-airflow control cap doesn't have air slots on the top, thats the difference?

Are these top caps the same as the stock cap?

Grenada is what I want to try. My ADV is Pluid, but I mix 1 part 20mg Pluid to 3 parts 0mg unflavored. It has no problems with the plastic or o-ring. I tried the same mix with Grenada, and tested on a clear tank section. It started etching the tank after only 5-10 minutes.

Also, I'm guessing there is still an o-ring sealing the chimney. Lots of juices that can ruin plastic also ruin the o-ring.
