I quit smoking about 3-4 years ago and picked up on vaping about 5 months ago. I have a lot of friends that smoke and sometimes it was a little tempting to go back to smoking for the social aspect. Vaping has cured that urge completely.
I used a dremel and wire wheel attachments then went back and polished it with the buffing wheels and compound in my dremel kit. I'm letting it hand patina now. Here's what it looked like when I was finished with polishing
I've used the efest 30a 18650 on sub ohm builds with no problems at all. Lasts a decent amount of time and never heats up. .15-.6ohm builds. Also have an lg that stays in the lower resistance builds as a "safety net" but I've never had an "oh ....." moment worth my efest on a sub ohm build. I...
Only thing I have above 1ohm is my Nautilus. Both of my tobh attys are sub ohmed. .15ohm and .45ohm. .15ohm build is on a copper stingray. .45ohm is on a stainless nemesis. I enjoy both for different reasons.
I love a good steak and baked potato but I with the others on keeping my vapes sweet. I'm thinking of trying some coffee flavors. Seems it would translate to vape well.
Is there a way to post a picture through Tapatalk? I'm actually kind of proud of my first build. Wouldn't mind showing it off. Lol Has a nice cool to warm hit with a slightly shorter ramp up than before.
Yes, I'm using an lg imr 18650 2100mah in the stingray. The nemesis is running an efest 2100 imr for now until I get a few more LGs. I have both types of meters. An eleaf volt/ohm meter and my ideal dmm. The eleaf is off by about .05ohm. I have some experience with discharge rates and cell...
What diameter and wrap do you suggest? I'm new to coil building but I have a good mechanical sense and have some previous low voltage experience so I'm not a total newb but don't know what the sweet spots are when it comes to coil builds. The current setups were done by a local shop.
New member here! OK I figured I'd make my first post about what I'm running and see if anyone has any advice. By the way, I'm a low budget vaper, so yes I use clones. If that's blasphemy to you, I apologize. Once my budget affords it, I will be more than happy to purchase a legit setup, but...
