    Non-smoker interested in vaping?

At first I started it so I didn't have to go outside in the rain to smoke. Then after a week I just stopped wanted to smoke, it tasted too crappy compared to vaping. Now I just vape 0 nicotine because I really really like it. It's definitely a habit, but not a physical dependence, it's just damn...

    Non-smoker interested in vaping?

"is it not-totally-going-to-kill-me-and-give-me-cancer-or-destroy-my-lungs-and-or-throat" - yep "is it good" - yep "is it safe" - probably Normally people say that any harm is causes is basically negligible compared to smoking, but since you don't smoke that isn't a good argument. Personally, I...

Looking for Alternate Battery Recommendation (Sony US18650VTC5 2600mAh 30amp)

    This might help too: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/batteries-chargers/592339-comparison-vtc4-vtc5-lg-icr18650he2-samsung-inr18650-25r.html

Looking for Alternate Battery Recommendation (Sony US18650VTC5 2600mAh 30amp)

Vapercoils has a good article giving specs on some alternatives. I've been using the Samsung INR18650-25R (2500mAh 20A continuous rating) and it seems to compare pretty well with the VTC5s and lasts longer than the VTC4s, at 20A though you're not gonna be able to run a coil below about 0.2ohms.

Just got itaste vtr and battery dying very fast ladder help

Doesn't sound too far off, I use Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh batteries at about 4V on a 1.2ohm single coil kaifun for my out and about vape, and a battery runs me from when I drag my ... out to work at about 9am to some time in the evening, say 8pm.

RTA works on ohm meter but not on mods.

Sometimes when you screw down your atty onto the mod it can move the centre pin and make it short on the outer part where the thread is. Might be worth making sure the centre pin is as tight as you can get it, and properly centred, then giving it another go. Some of mine are a bit fiddly, but...

    Cost much more...

Wow, I spend less than the £230 per month I used to spend on stinkies, but $95/year seems insane. I run a little under £100 a month on juice assuming about 45ml a week and my obsession with trying myriad exotic flavours. I spend a lot less than that on hardware since I only use rebuildables. How...

Magnetic Firing Buttons and Accidental Firing

Nope, I never used to bother locking it or power it off since its limited to a 12 second fire anyway, I didn't imagine something pulsing it like that. I just take the battery out now in case the pulsing from the motor manages to emulate the 5 presses needed to switch it back on.

    Wattage Help

Plus, you're not having to get your juice out and drip every 6 pulls. That can get tedious.

    Wattage Help

For what it's worth, if you're a tank guy wanting something more satisfying I'd go for something like a kayfun rather than a dripper. In terms of the power you need it'll be somewhere between a dripper and a tank (I run 14 watts on a 1.2 ohm coil). Not as much of a cloud factory as an RDA, but...

    Wattage Help

Yeah, with a protank or something like that you don't need more than 8 watts. When I do a quad coil build on my Fogger RDA it doesn't get anywhere near burned tasting when I push it up to 50 watts (the highest my mod will go). If you're planning on dripping I'd try to get something that'll do at...

Magnetic Firing Buttons and Accidental Firing

I've only had the BEC for a couple weeks but I've been getting on pretty well with it. It was basically lying on the front bit of the treadmill so I'm guessing it was pretty close.

Magnetic Firing Buttons and Accidental Firing

Just been to the gym. Had my smok bec pro in my pocket. When I went on the treadmill, I put my vaporiser in my hoody pocket and put it on the front of the treadmill near the floor. When I stopped running and picked up my stuff, and my kayfun was so hot it burned the prints off my fingers...

    Micro or Nano coils?

I haven't had any trouble with quads on my 5 post fogger, maybe you're using too much cotton or winding it too tight, if you make the wick too dense it doesn't seem to allow as much liquid to flow to the coils.

Alice in Vapeland ~ Premium All-Natural E-juice ~ Tea Table Saloon

Eeeek, almond, thanks for the heads up, I wont be using that one from the 'Little Bit of Everything' I got last week.

    For experienced owners

Between 1 and 5 days for me, depends on your juice, and your tolerance for performance loss. With a crystal clear liquid like Frost Blossom by Alice in Vapeland I replace after 3 days or so, but the Lavendar Ever After I have in there now has clogged the coils up pretty well after a day.

    Micro or Nano coils?

You can get round that (to a certain extent) by dragon wicking. I use a quad 1mm innner diameter dragon coil setup in my fogger and it doesn't dry out too easily.

[Newbie] Vision Spinner 1600mah + Protank Mini 2/3 - coils, resistance, voltage

Depends on liquid, but I can't really push more than about 4.3V on the 1.8ohm dual coils in my aerotanks. With the single coil 2ohm attys I had in my protank 2 it got burny above 8 watts, whatever that works out as in volts.

    Single coil or dual coils?

+1 for Protank or Aerotank, best I've found outside Taifuns and RDAs.
