+1 to trying new coil builds before trying a new atty. My go-to for single coil RTAs is 26AWG kanthal, 2.5mm ID and about 8/9 wraps to come in around 1omh and I vape it around 12W-15W. I generally vape RDL but have used the build for MTL to practice smoke rings with good results.

A few over at [a different forum across the pond] have reported success with using a length of 25gauge (.5mm) wire. I've also heard that Eden Mods is sending out free replacements to those that ask for one.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with your choice. I have both and the Rose3 bests the Gem II in all the ways that count. Better flavor, denser vapor, a smoother more silent draw, superior wicking, less complicated and more versatile build deck, easier to maintain, less leaking, the list...

Remember also that the vape game has changed since the Erl and Rose 2 were all the rage. Regulated mods these days are capable of firing pretty much any kind of coil you like, whereas 'back in the day' such power was only available using mech mod and an atty with an open build deck (RDA) that...

I'm going into week 3 of using my Rose3 and this atty is incredible. The build and maintenance has been trouble free. I like [most of] the tolerances and I haven't found myself unscrewing unintended pieces. I haven't had a single leak and the draw is incredibly smooth with no whistles...

Bump for an incredible flavor RTA ... I'd snatch this up if I didn't already have two! Last time I heard the wait list was about 4-6 months long ... so this could be someone's lucky day GLWS!

For some reason I can't help but think Boba Fett is missing one of his mods! You said it KD ... more than that, it's actually grown on me - and I enjoy hunting for drip tips that pull it all together :D
