I would agree with Dusty_D. I have never had a grommet get burnt. As far as using NR for just the legs ---- I can't imagine the patience that would take -- I'm a fireman, not a jeweller :2cool:

"NO resistance/NR wire" ?? Excuse my lack of knowledge, but if you are using NO resistance wire what is your heat source for vaporizing the e-liquid ?

What are you powering it with ? Is your voltage set too high ? I rebuilt one of mine with 32 guage kanthal, 5 wraps on silica wick- tested at 1.9 ohms on my Provari and I'm running it at 4 volts with no burning.

I purchased a couple of Kanger Pro Tanks about a week ago, along with an Aga T2 and some IClear 30s. The Protank is impressive - good vape, doesn't leak, looks decent and is very easy to rebuild. If you haven't tried one yet it is well worth putting on your wish list IMHO.

Considering that you will use a couple of inches max per wrap even half of the spool should last you years :)

I purchased PG at London Drugs here (500ml bottle). The pharmacy tech asked what it was for, out of curiosity I think, and I told her it was for a very high end humidor. They didn't have extra in stock so they ordered it in for me (2 days).

My black one, that I have had for a year and a half, is in my hand now ---- no chips or scratches and I have banged it around pretty bad at times.

Thanks - I ended up ordering it from Jugheads, along with a bunch of other stuff I didn't need :). Don't know how I missed this supplier before - hope they are as good as people say they are.
