    So I realized what I did wrong. I wasn't unscrewing the tank entirely, just unscrewing the glass when I changed coils. You have to take the tank completely off for the device to register the ohm change. I got 0.5 ohm coils and reset the ohm reader and now it hits perfectly.

    It could be. I noticed recently that it always reads 0.29 ohms no matter what coil I use. I have a0.5ohm coil in now and it reads the same. It doesn't taste burnt anymore though. I got a new pack of coils and the first one I tried was good. I really think I just got a bum batch.
