off topic but i'm trying to tell myself to not get any more 18650 setups. at this point, even if i managed to get 0 VD through the mech and rda, the battery is the limiting factor and where the majority of the VD is coming from. This really isn't an issue for people who are vaping at higher ohms...
Everything is tested on load (honestly that's the only way I know how to test it) with my multimeter. I use a fresh vtc off the charger, pop it in, and take the average number while firing it.
Got rid of the stingray. My current setup now:
1. Nemesis (upgraded magnets, no springs), Doge rda
2. SS SMPL, Dark Horse rda
3. Copper SMPL, Copper Plumeveil 1.5 with chuff enuf drip top
All clones. All on 22 gauge. Dual coil 5 wraps @ .09 ohm
I've removed the copper foil and no longer use it...
After trying to source a better fitting box, I can't seem to find a better match than the 1590N1, so the juice bottle will have to be squished a bit.
I'm still confused as to how the wiring needs to be done for the battery. The pictures that show in the link I provided above show that the...
i'll definitely be wiring in a fuse and mosfet. all i have figured out right now is what i'd ideally want which is:
1. all day power at ~200-300 watts (currently vaping 100-135w with VD in consideration on my 18650 mechs)
2. bottom feed
3. cut out on box for charging ports
going by what i have...
I'm very interested in learning how to build my own LiPo box mod similar to the Gen Two 504w Mech. i've been searching for information throughout this forum but i'm quite confused and still need a lot of information. the closest i've seen is someone's DIY 450 watt box mod but he doesn't use...
Saw this while focalecig and noticed how deep the juice well looked, probably holds more juice than the magma. I'm not too find of the overall design but I've been looking for something that can cloud chase as well as my dark horse/plume veil/doge, but hold more juice as well. Vaping at .1 ohm...
I'm a complete noob with electrical work but would def like to see a step by step on pushing a/c outlet power to a mech. I go through 2 sony's a day vaping at .1ohm
Actually nm. I did some more reading online and even though it appears relatively safe, the paranoia is getting to me. Plus I use only fruity flavored juices which are typically acidic.
On another note, I'll see how my old modded plumeveil v1.5 will look on the SMPL once it comes in the mail...
Haha I see. Well my main concern was about whatever possible health hazards there are with possibly vaping on a full copper rda. I'm not exactly a clean freak since I smoked for 8 years and continue to still put nicotine into my body everyday, but I do clean out my rda between re-wicking the...
So I'm looking for a copper Rda to go with my copper SMPL mech, and to make sure this setup will have the least VD as possible on a .1 ohm build. My main go to right now is a Dark horse clone on a ss SMPL clone (.4VD under load at .1ohm). The SXK clone has a ss base but this one by Ijoye appears...
I bought a digital multimeter. I first test the battery (usually a fresh sony off the charger) on it's positive and negatives -> pop it in the mech -> and test the voltage under load on the positive and negative posts of the rda.
from there, i subtract the difference in the voltages, and viola.
The Nemesis is in a "Chrome Brass" color. Not sure why it's labeled that color since it looks like black chrome or chrome gunmetal. Anyways, both the Nemesis and my Stingray X have identical VD, even after cleaning all the threads and contacts.
Update: Upon further cleaning of my 3 RDA's (Dark...
Wow I can only imagine how many mechs you own if you already have 5 of the same mech that just came out recently. That's already $400+.
Agreed, I would get the authentic if I could but I can't justify $120 on it. I know it hits harder due to it being a true 1 piece
Just got my SXK SS clone in the mail. VD is .2V less than my nemesis clone, with a .5 drop on a .09 ohm build.
I do like the functionality of this with not having to deal with a locking ring. The groove where the coin slot is located is a little sharp so I'll have to file it a little. I do...
