What KenD said. Did you wrap,these coils yourself or buy them? If they are heating unevenly their resistance isn't matched or you have a bad connection. You shouldn't even be wicking them or trying to vape until you have equality in their heating, no wonder your vape tastes bad. What wire are...

Your batteries are good but total overkill for your mod, especially if you are a low,power user. Better to get an external charger like the Nitecore Intellicharger I2, they aren't expensive.
