1. Hobo v2.1 - Oldie but still my all day atty
2. 454 Big Block v1 - considerable flavor
3. Mutation X v2 - Love the grub screws. I own the V3 but I have how the screws back out and how they clip my leads.
Here's a newly created Alabama vape shop directory. It may not have all of the shops but it's pretty close. I made it myself. The site works good but if you want to submit a listing or claim a listing you have to fill out a form. You can't just log in and edit stuff. I want to add that feature...
I have always used dual coils in all of my RDAs. I did a tri-coil build in my stillare and it was OK but not too great. I tried quad coils in my MutXv2 and it didn't really stand out to me as being beneficial.
My favorite build in my MutXv2 is 24g or 26g parallel coils around a 1.8mm...
This is good advice. I would encourage you to also watch tutorials on Youtube if possible. Youtube helped me tremendously when I was learning how to build.
I'm glad after 3 years of burnt taste and you haven't gone back to regular cigs.
Definitely chamber size and airflow contribute to flavor. The Hobo is my go-to atty for flavor and the Mutation X v2 is my atty for clouds. I own several others but these two are my main devices.
If you are looking for something that's customizable I would get a mutation x v2. It's got highly...
I do a five wraps when I do 26g parallels in my Mutation X v2. This is an awesome build and I love it. The only better build for the Mutation is 24g parallels wrapped 5 times. Also, I have good luck when I use a 2mm or 1.8mm mandrel to wrap on.
Also, doing two separate coils will not achieve...
I do a 5/4 wrap around a 1.8 mm screwdriver and get really good results. I also just did a 5/4 dual coil parallel build using 24g kanthal and i love it! Big clouds and amazing flavor. If you have enough space on your deck do the parallel build and you'll be happy.
I own a Hobo v2.1 and I am still figuring out how to build it so it will hit good. I recommend the Mutation x v2. It's not in the hgh end price range but frankly I'm liking it better than my Hobo right now. The mutation has very customizable airflow and has never let me down.
Cosmic Fog Kryptonite, Cuttwood Unicorn Milk, Suicide Bunny Original Bunny are what I'm rotating in my RDA at the moment. the Kryptonite is my favorite though.
Just to add to this... I was using a Panzer clone that I noticed would get very hot on the bottom when I used 22g wire in my builds. I was a noob at the time so I went to my local shop where I bought the device from and they said it was normal. Well, one day I took a puff and sat the device down...
26g parallels. Wrapped 5 times on a 1.8mm mini screwdriver is my favorite build right now on my Mutation X v2. I'm using the SMK Flagship mechanical mod and this setup give really good vapor production and awesome flavor.
My second favorite build right now is 24g twisted with 28g wrapped 5...
I had some extra screws from a Little Boy clone laying around and I used those on the outside negative posts. The only issue is that if I were to use 22 gauge wire the top cap would come to rest on those screws effectively messing up the AFC. 24 gauge is wire is fine though. Funny thing is that...
This is great advice! I've tried 24 gauge and even 22 gauge around a 2mm mandrel. I'm in the same boat as you in that I want to like it for the reviews but can't seem to get the build right.
That little hex wrench and is a pain and tbh mine didn't come with one. I went and bought one from a...
I just spent $90 on a Hobo v2.1 and I'm having an issue. I cannot get a decent build on it that performs like I want it to. What builds are you running on your Hobos? Please be specific as in what gauge of wire and number of wraps.
It's bugging me that I just spent almost $100 on this thing I...
