And the reason we work off the spool is to not waste precious wire. Kidney puncher is amazing and I'll be damned if I'm gonna waste a foot of it. Temco and LV is good for starters though and if you're struggling with aliens that's where I would start. There is no point in buying expensive wire...- Justadude

Razor back is a ribbon claptoned on it's edge. Armadillo is a ribbon overlayed on top of itself. I would work up the gauges with Claptons before moving on to aliens. But if you think you're up for it, by all means go for it bro :thumb:- Justadude

Pretty much any cordless drill with adjustable speed. I think harbor freight might even have them. And if you're originally claptoning around 26 then you want to alien around 3x26, not 2x24.
