I haven't tried their Peanut alone but their Nutty Princess tobacco has the most realistic and pleasant peanut flavor I've tasted, and I've tried a lot because I'm a big 555 fan. I don't know if it's the same exact peanut flavoring used in Peanuts but I would say it's definitely worth a gamble...
I've never had real bilberries, but the FA version to me has the most realistic blueberry taste I've tried. It's less sweet and a little tart- like a real fruit. I probably wouldn't use it as a primary blueberry flavor but it balances nicely with the sweeter blueberry flavorings and/or EM/sweetener.
That's funny- I often use Perique with 7 Leaves as well. One of my go-to tobacco bases is FA 7 Leaves, Hang Ry1 and Perique.
edit: now I'm thinking you meant that 7 Leaves has some Perique in it. Either way, I like mixing a touch of Perique on top for a darker balance.
If I'm not mistaken, MSDS reports won't show diketones. Nevertheless, I didn't see that info you posted at first on the website. They should just have that page instead of the page that I posted, but yeah that seems like they're more open and proactive than I thought.
I'll be "that guy"- sorry to those who don't care about the diketone issue. This info on their website really annoys me:
Food Grade flavorings are FDA listed as “Generally Recognized as Safe”
Manufactured according to GMP
No artificial coloring added
Soluble in 100% VG recipes...
That's interesting, I hadn't noticed that. Maybe Capella has released information about their other flavors? I would be surprised if a lot of their flavors- the creams, cake batter etc- are now diketone free. I haven't messed with them in awhile but back when I was trying all different...
As much as I like and use Bull City, I would caution against this advice. I've only seen the "Caution" warning on the Capella flavors that have V2 alternatives and the TFA flavors that TFA itself publishes info on; that is, Bull City only puts "Caution" on the flavors that the manufacturers...
I think this is pretty tasty. It's also diketone-free, as much as my research can tell.
Wild Blueberry (TFA): 6%
Bilberry (FA): 2%
Cookie (FA): 4%
Vanilla Swirl (TFA): 4%
EM: 1%
Just to make sure- can I rebuild non-sub coils on the Subtank? I'm a longtime protank single coil user because they're easy to rebuild and all the new double/bvc tanks seem like a PITA to build. The Subtank would seem to be a good solution if I could put 1-2 ohm on it.
I've tried a lot of the FA and TFA nut flavors some of which are useful, but my favorite nutty flavors by far are in the Hangsen and Inawera tobacco lines: T5 (Hg) and Nutty Princess (In). I've evolved this recipe over the past year to something I think is a tasty, creamy 555:
T5 (Hg): 4%
Nutty...
Hi everybody. I have a question about German Flavours (from VapersTek). The manufacturer claims in its info "Flavorings with diacetyl or related diketones therefore not used in our products are used." but as VapersTek points out in their own info "The BELOW STATEMENT CONCERNING DIACETYL HAVE NOT...
Hi everybody! New to membership but I've been lurking ecf for awhile now, mainly this diy forum. First off thanks so much to everyone on here whose posts/info have been invaluable to me becoming a (semi)skilled diy'er.
I know this has been a frequent discussion on here and I've read most...
I'm a longtime ecf lurker which has been an invaluable resource, finally registering mainly to interact with the DIY peeps as that's been my vaping focus for awhile now. See y'all around!
