Couldn't be more excited as I am finally getting my first GEM. I have read and participated throughout this thread over the past few months but let's cut to the chase. Should I build it with cotton or mesh?
I think I first posted about 130 pages ago ..... and now I can proudly say I finally gave in. Who knows if I will ever get it set up properly but at least I can play matchy matchy with my WAE and a grey colored L frame. Will post proper pics with the GEM when I get it.
Q - Thanks for that review. For those of us still on the fence (or waiting on the TI) this is very helpful. I do have to say that with 20/20 hindsight it is inconceivable that a $200 atty doesn't come with any spares.

When I got the WAE II it was the perfect small regulated solution for me. I now find myself using smaller box mods instead. The increase in girth is a happy trade off for less height. With an 18500 the WAE II would be my daily carrier again.

Can anyone tell me if I can replace a 14mm cup with a 22mm on my 18490? I assume REO sells the replacement but the 14mm feels like it is very firmly attached. Here is a pic of my mod.
