    so it isn't a problem with the battery venting, its when its venting under pressure like a tube mod. the battery had plenty of space for the the gases to escape. its when the gases can't escape is when the real problems start to occur.

    Haha im in school to be an electrical tech, and they don't even teach battery safety in DC theory nor will they ever teach it in OSHA. It's common for a cell to vent due to heat or being in poor condition, but the majority of the public isn't going to learn because its almost never taught.

    and the wire for the sub tank is 26 gauge kanthal if your using a temp controlled device i would recomend 28 gauge nickel. just make sure your coils dont touch the sides of the occ.

    take a good ddm (like Klein, see the resistance of both coils from the post, maybe im wrong but im reading four wraps on one side and five on the other, also rebuild if they are not warming up evenly, it may be a simple mistake that your not catching.
