Mixing to 1.8% is quite easy. 4 x 1.8 = 7.2 which is your starting point on nicotine. So if you buy 100ml PG based nicotine you need to add 100 ml PG and 200 ml VG to get 1.8 50/50. Thats translates to 100ml 60/40 and 200ml 70/30. If you only need 100ml devide it all by 4.

Question is why is it rejected? Is your juice harsh like the tag suggests? Do you buy your juice in a B&M store/online or do you make your own? Most likely scenario is the nicotine in the juices aren't the best quality. Or your juices contain too much PG (adds throat hit).

Let's be generous. Say you'll do 10 mls a day, and the husband 5 mls. That makes a consumption 60 mg of nicotine a day. One bottle of 100ml at 100 mg/ml provides you enough nicotine for 166 days (100*100/60). Rest depends on how long you and the hubby want to keep vaping.

The order of mixing doesn't matter. I always start with nicotine, a slight boo-boo is easily corrected then. After that it's personal preference.
