:offtopic: ... I think this thread is more specific to the variable temperature function of the ego ONE VT/CT kit... Ease of use, accuracy and overall performance. A little of topic here, the ego one coils is pretty simple and universal... I won't be surprised though ;)

Yup, I don't dig the standard coil and TC coils joyetech provides. Hated the mega tank too. The only reason I got the complete kit was to attach the mod to some other tank or rda which is compatible (maybe less than 10% in the market) the biggest downfall is the 510 pin. Truly truly...

It works sort of like a true regulated now. In previous ego one models, joyetech claim they have a constant output but users still complain about the voltage drop when the battery indicator flashes.. They fixed it in this model and now it performs stellar at even 10-20% I believe the ijust2...

One thing to note , I realize how to let it set the resistance of the coil. First, unscrew atomizer... Lock device... Screw in atomizer... Switch out of TC mode... Switch back to TC mode... Done! :D Works great at the moment at high settings for me... Nice warm hit

Okay, I take back what I said. Looks like the kayfun doesn't really work well on it. Actually, as a matter of fact, the kayfun v4 isn't quite TC compatible on any mods. I realized my findings were incorrect when I reattached my rda. It works perfectly again.... :facepalm: The inconsistencies...

Okay... So a little more tests I believe the TC in this mod works differently from others. I say this because it is sort of a dry hit prevention mode... Just like the asolo 200w (watch reviews on YouTube) which actually does kanthal TC by estimating/ guessing" when the cotton wick gets dry...

It will work well with that tank, no worries. Don't let the complications of TC scare you.. In this device it is simple as hell, and works perfectly in preventing dry hits. It's not the world's most accurate temp control mod, but it works fairly well and is very small in the palm of my hands...

Would like to add that I was brave enough to vape it with a full lung hit (tank is empty) haven't got a dry hit. ;) Make sure to prime the cotton first Anyway here's my nickel build used for the test.. I'm gonna order some titanium gr1 to mess with when I have the time...

The inconsistency is a bit worrying. I think it varies with different types of coil eg. Nickel, titanium... Resistance of coils, diameter or wire and all sorts. I think they all perform differently on all three settings. However, would love to hear the results of the nickel coil.. Have you...

I won't say I'm an experienced vaper, but.. I can tell a good vape to a bad one. :lol: Does it perform well on low settings? Have you used the Ti coils ?

Well, think of it as testing purposes.. ;) A nasty dry hit is what most of us want to avoid.. I just hope joyetech got it right in this. I think attaching a rda on the ego one vt mod would be the easiest to tell between a dry hit and a good vape
