    Where's the Boreas discussion?

I just got mine and built it out with a dual fused Clapton build. 2x28N80/38N80 and it's amazing!! Build quality is superb, vapor production is phenomenal, and flavor is nice. @roxynoodle has done a great job with Augvape but I have some questions. There was a huge thread and now it's...

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

I vape 70/30, so can't speak to higher but I rewick and dry burn once a week and have no issues vaping about 8ml a day. The trick with the Griffin is having the wicks just covering the juice channels and not sticking in. This isn't an amazing photo, but you can see no wick under the retaining...

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

Out of about 5 completely different builds I've had on my 2 Griffins, my favorite is this. 2x28gNi80/38gNi80 dual fused Clapton on 3mm, 8 wraps. .28ohm. Running on regulated at 65-80w depending on my mood. The flavor is top notch and the ramp up is negligible with the 38g wrap. Sent from...

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

This is my current and so far favorite Griffin build. All Ni80 2x28/38 dual fused Clapton over 3mm 8 wrap. .33 ohm and very delicious around 70w. Virtually no ramp up time and tons of tasty vapor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

It's true. I got a new one last week and the screws are a darkened metal, nitride coated maybe, and very hard. No stripping and they got very tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Noisy Cricket and Indestructible RDA

They vape hot and fast. You need to build accordingly because you will be pushing insane wattages through your coils. Most people build for series from .4 (very very hot) and 1.0 ohm with the sweet spot being somewhere around .7ohm. Basic Clapton wire or micro fused claptons seem to be the...

    Kanthal temp control?

The Hohmwrecker V2 will temp control and protect Kanthal very well up to about 600F. There are several videos of it. It's the real deal for 120$ or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Flavor chasing

2x28g fused claptons. Wrap with 34g or higher. For me, fused claptons are sort of a flavor threshold, fancier builds like aliens don't do much more. I run these 'small' fused claptons in my RTAs and RDAs. A set of dual 7 wraps on 3mm hit around .3ohm and are safe to vape even on single 18650...

New York Judge rules that Vaping is NOT Smoking.

I'm waiting for the 'but..." As in, vaping is not smoking but this is NY so we ban all the things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    How many vaping households

Wife and I gave it a go starting September 1st 2015, I quit day one and she struggled. She's been smoke free almost a month though, and we're much happier now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Please Have Pity And Advise Me On A New Atomizer

It's been mentioned but the Aromamizer is a great big RTA with super easy wicking. Best in class wicking simplicity. Maybe not best in flavor or overall design, but 6ml tank and easy build deck makes it worth checking out. I also love the Griffin, it's only a touch harder to wick but vapes...

How much E-juice do you go through?

I fill my Griffin once a day, so about 4ml @ 3mg. Smoke free since 9/1/15. Quit on 3mg, plan to stay on 3mg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Nobody recommends these batteries?

I run Sammy 25r in my RX. I have two married sets that I alternate. It is at least a 20A CDR battery that runs super cool and could really push 25A need be. Stick with the big players. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    vaping and chronic illness

He can do his own trial. Just buy the lowest dose gum or lozenge available and work out a dosing regimen. Something like 1mg every 3-4 hours or so to start and see how it affects him. Titrate up if it feels good or stop if it doesn't. Keep a journal or audio journal every hour for a few days...

    vaping and chronic illness

I think you missed my point. I'm all for him trying a controlled trial of nicotine therapy, but vaping is not a controlled delivery method. It is close to controlled, but there are many variables in each puff on a PV. A pharmaceutically dosed product might be a better way to do a controlled...

Tried my first hit on an RDA today - OMG

If you want RDA-like performance without all the hassle of dripping, I'd suggest looking as some of the newer RTA tanks on the market, specifically the Griffin or Diablo. Since buying my Griffins, my dripping has all but ceased. Look at these builds... These are coils normally confined to...

    vaping and chronic illness

Nicotine is rapidly metabolized and it's metabolites are cleared within a few days of sporadic use. I don't see the harm in giving it a short trial but you could use the gum or lozenges just as easily. Why would you inhale a mix of chemicals (as safe as they may be) when you don't have to...
