I put vaseline on all my threads at the instruction of Imeo. I've done this twice and haven't noticed a decrease in performance... To address the OP's issue, when I first received my GGTSv2, my telescoping piece was screwed down extremely tight and it took a lot of force to get it to unscrew...

I'm confused, why the three adapters? Is that for added resistance?

Nice vid, thanks for this. I could've used this the first time I attempted using my AVS. I had a bit of a struggle. Nothing too bad, just some juice in my mouth and I unscrewed the atty with the cap. 2nd time was a charm. I think this video will help a lot of AVS vapors out.

I'm pretty sure the only solution is a replacement of the atomizer connection piece of the AVS. Either your unit came DOA, or there may have been some accidental cross threading. Either way, I don't think you can fix it without getting a replacement of that small bottom piece. :oops:

Are we sure it's our GGTS, and not the batteries? The bigger batteries seem to vary in circumference ever so slightly. The protected ones aren't perfectly round, because they have that strip running down the side. I don't know, if my GGTS is just a tiny bit smaller, or if the two batteries I...

So far I love my GGTS. I am curious though, what grade/type of aluminum the GGTSv2 (2010) release is made form?
