I just found out a friend who got a standard Riva kit in my last order had the battery explode on him. Just waiting to hear if he is okay and what exactly happened. All I know so far is battery acid went everywhere when it exploded and he went to the hospital, I hope it didn't get in his eyes...
It's been used correctly, the battery was on charge for its initial 8 hr conditioning charge and was charging for a little under 8 hrs. When I touched the charger it was HOT, you can clearly see where the plastic had melted as it's deformed now. Selena has requested pictures of the batteries...
Bluffy, have you received a reply from Selena about this issue? I am experiencing the same battery issue and I sincerely hope Eastmall will address this issue as it seems this could have disastrous consequences if there were a fire.
I have some serious concerns with the quality control and assurance of these Riva batteries. I've been vaping for about 14 months, started with 510s and still have all my batteries in working condition. Enter the Riva! These are a fantastic PV but unfortunately I feel the need to heavily...
lol I remember being here, each drop was precious. You can only get so much out, I used to shake the bottle upside down and hope some would get into the dripper but you can never get it all. I just looked at 3 empty bottles, I've gotten as much out as possible without going to great lengths...
Buzzy is correct, different strokes for different folks. My only suggestion would be to go with something that has long battery life. I think you'll find as time passes you'll end up with multiple devices anyway. I would scrap the 510 idea, the eGo IS a 510 on steroids, the only difference is...
I think the title of the article is a given. Of course it's "safer" to not smoke at all but if you haven't been able to quit, and want to, this is your last option as far as I'm concerned.
This is indeed the definitive place to be when it comes to vaping. I've been coming here for about a year and a half, obviously not posting much but it's clear to see everyone cares a great deal about this place. It's a very tightly knit community where someone will give you the atomizer off...
Looking at your options I would have said to go with an eGo. Having recently received my new Boge Leo I would definitely have to recommend this one, even though it is not one you're considering. It is, for me, by far the best PV I've ever used. It's great in the car, no fumbling to drip, huge...
I second that, get a drip tip, it's the way to go with anything 510, the carts just don't cut it after awhile. I generally use 3 drops x2 and that's my "cigarette".
This is something I've noticed as well, I've been off analogs and vaping for approx. 14 months, I used to get a cold at least 6 times a year for as long as I can remember. Since I've been vaping I have only gotten sick and stuffed up once, that's when I reached for a minty juice to help open...
I would have to agree here, the 510, battery wise, is washed up. The power that the Ego / Riva provides the 510 atty is like night and day. Not only do you get about 8 hours of solid vaping but anyone who has used the stock 510 setup knows how golden the first dozen or so puffs are, you get...
I'm thinking of trying some juice from here but I'm just wondering what the success rate is for the EM team and Canada customs. I'm looking at ordering 2 of the 5x20ml samplers. Any Canadians successfully ordering juice from here on a regular basis? Thanks for any advice ladies and gents! :)
