I reset the coil on the GTA and removed the batteries in the mod. Mounted the GTA and placed the batteries in. Started it up and it fired for the time I held the button down, then released and tried again and got the error again. Fired up again and no error messages since. Seems everything is...
Thanks all for the help. I ended up changing the coil out of the TFV8 tank, kinda forgot there was another coil. As soon as I did that and put the batteries back into the mod everything started to work. Still cannot get the GTA to work, still shows shorted. I have to get my hands on some coils...
Yeah I used some napkins I have laying around. I tried it several times. There doesn't seem to be any juice there or at least none the napkins can get at.
So I received my Battlestar yesterday and mounted my TFV8 tank on and was vaping away for awhile. I went and filled the tank again and a pretty good leak happened. I cleaned up the tank and the mod, at least it only seemed to be a little juice got on top and the back side. I reset the coil in...
To be honest I like how easy building with a kit is. It also saves me the time of going to different sites or stores to get each piece. I have some tools since I do work on my vehicles on occasion but there is a lot I do not have, like flush cutters, ceramic pliers/tweezers the right...
So I got all my gear in last week. Thanks to everyone that responded to my post. I am going to try and interact more but there is so much info on these forums all my questions have been answered several times already.
I ordered the iPV Velas, it was in bad shape new in the package. The stickers...
Thank you all for all the suggestions. I was able to get a coupon from a co-worker. I ended up getting the Telas and the TFV8 tank. I am terrible at making decisions there are several mods and tanks I want to get, so here is to winning the lottery (lol). Now to get some juice samples, there are...
Thank you QcVaper. You have given me more to look at and consider. I definitely looked at the Wismecs before settling on the Fuchai. I like the look of this mod as well. I will check out the TFV8, a kid I work with has one and loves it and as I said I had the TFV4 and loved it. I guess things...
It has been awhile since I been in these forums. And just as long since I vaped. Short story is, I had to sell all my vape equipment due to health and financial issues. I am on a slow recovery on both accounts. With this slow recovery I have given up a lot of the fun and enjoyable things I used...
So I had finally gotten wire and a cordless drill. I went to do my first coils and noticed that the second group of wires I bought were Ni80 and my first group of wires are Kanthal A-1. Are these materials safe to use together? Do I have to worry about corrosion? I know two different metals...
Thanks for the help all. Now I just need to finish up reading some info and get the funding up. Hopefully in the near future I will post up my first mod.
Yeah I don't think I want to jump into a 3 battery mod, at least for now. Time for some more researching. Especially I have time until I have funds to do this.
I have to look up pricing for the dna200. I thought there was a Reuleaux dna200 and another cheaper Reuleaux, or did I miss something? One is like $60 the other almost $200.
If I could get a whole mod for less then the actual board that would be great. And gives me somewhere to start the build.
So after going through this section of ECF I am now looking to build my own mod. But where do I start? Should I look for a simple and cheap build? I have some mechanical ability and also have been known to solder a diode or two. I have read several build posts on the forums and building seems...
