I do own the innokin mvp V1.The diff between V1 & V2 is that V2 has ohm checker.But both still have built-in batt about 2300mah which doubles as external batt pack for your phone,etc. The newer ones has removable batt but does not have the capabilities as an external batt pack.

Yes, that is correct. Investing on a variable voltage device is the convinience when u have many different atties (eg. LR1.5ohm,2.7ohm,etc) to suit ur vaping style. Some use LR1.5ohm @4.2V~4.5V. It is up to individual. For 5V and above, most would recommend 2.7ohm~3ohm Atty a.k.a High Voltage...

Becareful, some tanks will not work on lavatube if there is no gap for airflow/air intake.Also,some Atty will not have a good contact with the centre post of lavatube.Just so U know.
