Thanks for the tip. I did as you said and there was one in there that was the right size but it was white, unlike the one I need to replace which is black. The thickness of the white one was a little less and therefore didn't hold the drip tip on.

Just tried swapping the very bottom pin that pushes out the bottom. That doesn't solve anything. I'll keep fiddling. Thanks for the help so far.

It's the bit that screws in to the 510 thread on the mod box that has the problem. So in the photo you've shown, it's the part on the far left is screwed in to that seems to be at fault
