I've been using vivi novas for a couple months now exclusively and I know what you speak of. I did a complete disassembly and rinse under a hot running tap. Let it dry and reassemble the next day. I've had heads die doing this for no rhyme or reason so caution is advised if you have no backups...

I will be the first to admit I know nothing firsthand about RBA's but I too have been looking around and the AGA-T+ looks pretty nice/ easy-ish. I am also interested in getting into the RBA scene and that's what I've been looking at. Gonna check out some of the others you guys have listed...
