Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

Thanks man that was very helpful. I actually though the juice flow was supposed to work with screwing and unscrewing of the deck because I couldn't move it clockwise after closing the deck. Another reason for believing that was a video on YouTube by MikeVapes who said its wobbly when the juice...

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

I just got the Ammit yesterday and built a 0.61ohm SS316L coil. Had to wick it 4 times before getting it somewhat correct. I'd like your comments on the following points if you don't mind? 1) the very first thing was that I couldn't tighten the screws to trap the wire. One was partly fine but...

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a detailed response. I searched on Google and most of the places listed the TCR of ss316l as 92. There were so many different answers but 92 seemed like most common. I don't understand why there's not a single answer. I dry fire the coil because I'm...

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

So now I should start looking for a decent quality, cheap and leak free RTA which is also durable and small enough, while holding at least 4ml of juice to take everywhere with me. Should be easy :)

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

No. It doesn't ask after refilling. Now I updated to Arcticfox and the situation as as the following: I set SS316L TFR from the PC utility and 21W. Built another coil which is 0.42ohm. The the temperature during normal 3-4 puffs is remains around 270F and struggles to get higher. I'm actually...

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

Thanks all for the replies. I can understand the coil changing resistance, however why would the temperature setting be messed up after rewicking? I'm gonna upgrade the firmware and see if it fixes anything.

Having problems with TC on Pico Mega

Hi everyone. I'm new to TC and having some problems understanding the whole thing. Here's my story. I built my first SS316L coil on EGO CLR which came at 0.40ohm. I set my mod at SS mode and tried a few different temperatures. 340F seemed good. I wasn't sure if this was the correct SS setting...

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

Here to report that using 2.5mm mandrel solved the problem I was having. It fits a little tight in the cutouts but fits. Thanks to all

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

It's kinda funny the systems we use. We "mostly" use metric system. We use feet and inches for length and height, and meters/kilometers for distance.

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

Actually I have a coil master replica which doesn't work but it's heads definitely will. Gonna try and report back.

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

That's exactly what I've been doing. The screwdriver barely fits. I do like the idea of bigger diameter. I'm gonna try making a bigger coil and fitting it in without support. Edit:I may have something at 2.5mm. Gonna try that and report back in a few days.

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

I have been using the blue screwdriver. Not sure what diameter it is :D

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

There have been so many replies to my post that I don't know which ones to quote. Let me clarify a little. Some time ago I posted in this thread about the nasty dry hits I was getting from the Clr and that was because of slow wicking of 70VG juice. I was using 0.5ohm coil and taking too frequent...

eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

Here with a question. I guess we've all had some wicking issues with CLRs. The best way I've found to solve that is to remove the juice flow ring from the coil. However, I think it makes the opening too big and sometimes the tank starts leaking. Has anyone found a way to combat that yet?

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

Thanks to all who replied to my post. I'll just try to keep chain vaping to a minimum for now :thumb:

New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

This thread has got me worried now. Can't read the whole thing. Did we reach any conclusions about the whole thing? Is it one where I don't have to discard my recently bought istick basic and buy an istick pico to use TC while out?
