    Suggestions for arcticfox

Hello! I love custom firmware for vapes like ArcticFox and even have my own modification (BetterJoy) - it has big interface, but works only on bigscreens. Also, my favorite device istick 100w tc with small screen (96x16 pixels) Inho, arcticfox has small usability, limited functiouns on key...

SMEvic - open firmware for joyetech devices with big screen

There is exist great firmware for JT devices, SME Some screenshots: Mostly, this FW has more advantages than arcticfox, but it's quite harder than AF and not very comfortable :) It's only developed for big screen devices and due to this has more space than AF and developer quite responses for...

Developer wrote about pico. You should play with LDROM or something, try). Also, safe mode

Yeah, if your target is 200°C or equal, you have to play with TCR, if you like play with math, you can play with fake °C :) Anyway, I do not see any theoretical reason when SS build can increase TCR more than 90-100 - bigger TCR means your material reacts on heating better. May be it's local...

    Which temp did you set?)

Uniform firmware for many devices - ArcticFox + NFirmwareEditor

Even so... For example, comfortable tempetarute about 200°C, mod allows you sets from 100 to 315. If base TCR around 90, lowest TCR that mod can parse (from 100°C) is 90*100/200=45 - if you have 45 TCR, you should set 100°C and it should work Biggest TCR is 90*315/200=141.75 - you should set...

Uniform firmware for many devices - ArcticFox + NFirmwareEditor

    >running a TCR of 130 for this particular 316L coil was the only way to get a close vape to what I like that holds temp. It's quite strange.

    Or: Δ1°C=Δ1.8°F TCR 100 means 10%/100°C or 10%/180°F

You can combine TCR+F, but in "debug mode" when you want to use your brain it's more hard, I think. I can't think in °F) Actually, TCR more close to the °Kelvin, but ΔK=ΔC ;)

Ahh... Ahh... You should know how TCR works. Basically 1) In vape, TCR is how much percent on every 100°Celcius it changes. Not Farengeit. I don't know what you know about celcius, but 0 is when water start turn to ice, 100°C when water boils For example, SS changes around 10% (it can be...

Can you give screenshot of device monitor in AF how your vaping works?

Uniform firmware for many devices - ArcticFox + NFirmwareEditor

That does, but only if combination of preheat/wattage dont be more than target temp

Then increase your TCR to 120 fox example and try again, but I think you have problem with start resistance %)

Uniform firmware for many devices - ArcticFox + NFirmwareEditor

What is your target? A lot of vapers who just woke up and started think about safety very serious seriosly want to get correct temperature and find and dance with TCR/TFR/curves/resistance about 0.00x and want correct vaping on 200 C. In my experience, it could be 150 C, 250 C, now my T is 150...

For better view you could connect device to PC Start NFE monitoring. See on live resistance. Hold fire. If live resistance (pink) stable increase - you could get TC anyway. If it's stable or even reduces (i have this bug on Kanthal) - you can not get TC on this material-atomizer configuration...

Uniform firmware for many devices - ArcticFox + NFirmwareEditor

It's does not give real 220% of preheat, when your coil will heat to target tempeature, expect you don't make force preheat. Drop TCR check, life will be easier) You don't must lock resistance, it's locked alredy until you change or rescrew your atomizer. Best way to refresh coil resistance...
