Bench Test Results: Samsung 25S 2500mAh 25A 18650...a great battery, best at under 20A

Yes,,,I am getting a flashback from last year. Flashlight guy[me] vs. Vapers,,you and everyone else. lol! Since this is a vape forum, I understand [now] as to why you come up with the those conclusions. Regardless of that, This is clear. The 24S has LESS voltage sag from beginning to ~ 3.72V...

Bench Test Results: Samsung 25S 2500mAh 25A 18650...a great battery, best at under 20A

"At 10A this cell is a better choice than the Samsung 20S and 24S." I do not understand. Your graph clearly shows that the 24S has LESS Voltage sag than the 25S at 10A until ~3.72v and then they are basically even the rest of the way. Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Apexium INR18650 2600mAh (rated 25A continuous)

It is annoying. I may re wrap mine. What is more surprising to me is you guys are more focused on the writing than what cell it is!! I could be wrong but I do not think it was verified before, just an educated guess.

Thanks for your testing Mooch,,,,any idea when/where this cell will become available??? My hometown dealer[Liionwholesale] ran out several weeks ago.:( I have a handful of VTC5D[Vapcell re wraps],,,supposedly this 24S is a slightly better cell.:-)

    PRELIMINARY Bench Test Results: Sony VTC5D 18650...around 25A, 2700mAh-2800mAh, beats VTC5A

WELCOME!!!! I agree with that 100%. The 10A test clearly shows that the VTC5A has LESS voltage sag until about 3.77V. Being a NON Vapor that is important to me because I use these for modded lights which I change and put a fresh battery in right around 3.80V!! Clearly for the vapors[vast...

    PRELIMINARY Bench Test Results: Sony VTC5D 18650...around 25A, 2700mAh-2800mAh, beats VTC5A

I have to realize that this is a vaping website and I do not vape, but I enjoy the info. Mooch and others provide. When I look at the graphs provided by Mooch, I see that when discharging at 10A the VTC5A has LESS voltage sag than the VTC5D up until ~ 3.7V. That benefits me because I put a...

    Bench Test Results: Sony VTC6A 18650 Samples...beats VTC5A, estimated 2900-3000mAh, 20-25A

Still trying to comprehend all of this. This and my other post are based on the graph mooch posted of the VTC5A VS.VTC6A. According to MOOCH'S graph the VTC5A has LESS voltage sag than the VTC6A up to ~ 3.6V. How could one benefit more from 3.6V to the cut off of 3.4V to 3.2V than 4.2v to...

    Bench Test Results: Sony VTC6A 18650 Samples...beats VTC5A, estimated 2900-3000mAh, 20-25A

OK,,,Thanks. It sounds like vapers would benefit from the VTC6A over the VTC5A because of what you described. For me, the Flashaholic[!!!],,the VTC5A is better because of what I mentioned. A modified light[V54] using a quality high drain @ 3.6v is noticeably weaker which is easily detectable...

    Bench Test Results: Sony VTC6A 18650 Samples...beats VTC5A, estimated 2900-3000mAh, 20-25A

Thank you very much for the test. Don't get mad at me!! First I must say that I use these high drain cells in my MODDED flashlights. From what I see in the voltage curves b/w the VTC5A[My favorite battery] is that the VTC6A does NOT take over until ~ 3.60v. At that point the VTC5A starts to...
