RDA for REO Grand (regular profile)

Yes. I want to play with an RDA conversion to bottom-feed, but has to be small enough to fit in the top of the REO.

RDA for REO Grand (regular profile)

I see people using modded RDAs on the Lo-profile REO Grands, but not sure if I have seen one that will work for the regular ones. Any suggestions?

Major Button Mod - Firing Pin-ectomy

UPDATE - Couldn't be happier with this mod. Works better than ever. And this is how often I have to clean, file and noalox it - NEVER. Dropped the unit once and physically broke the button - derp - my bad. Took a soldering iron and about 10 minutes (and less than a buck) to replace it with a...

I wasn't sure how the posts were installed. I need to turn one a bit so the wire goes in at a better angle. Thanks

Major Button Mod - Firing Pin-ectomy

That's weird because I use 6 batteries (AW/Panasonic) in rotation and ALL of them have pitting. And I DO use Noalox and clean my contacts. And I never had a heavy hand on the button. The last two firing pins I got were pretty sharp at the point. I was pretty nervous about drilling it out...

I just got dumped. Suggest something to buy impulsively

So this Chinese guy, who had just been dumped, went out and bought a new Motorcycle. Upon viewing the shiny new machine, the man's neighbor, Sai Weng, said "DAMN DUDE... THAT IS ONE BADASS RIDE. YOU GONNA DO AFTERMARKET EXHAUST??" And the guy said "HELL YEAH!" And everyone way happy.

Major Button Mod - Firing Pin-ectomy

It feels great. I have always like these buttons and always used them when building mods was the only way to get a good e-cig. I thought I might add a fuse just in case, but I think I am safe as I have used these buttons with 1.5ohm atties for many years.

Major Button Mod - Firing Pin-ectomy

I consistently run at 1.5 - 1.7 ohms. Never below - even when the switches were melting. I think arcing at the battery, where it was pitted, was causing the heat that melted the buttons. But I am not electronics-smart, so just a guess - especially since I could never find a short and never...

Major Button Mod - Firing Pin-ectomy

Let me start this thread by saying that my reasons for doing this mod have nothing to do with the build quality of the REO, or the FANTASTIC customer service that Robert offers. Rob goes over-and-above when it comes to his support of his product. Also - I am NOT suggesting you do this - I am...

Stripped threads and mechanical button question

I actually have a small chunk of popsicle stick wedged in there now - works fine with that. Can I just buy a bracket off of you instead of sending it in? Do you have a pic of one installed?

Stripped threads and mechanical button question

Yeah - I did have to rebuild mine a couple of times, and then your guy rebuilt it once, recently. How do you repair it? Bigger screw and re-thread the hole? (PS - I emailed you Rob)

Stripped threads and mechanical button question

Looks like I stripped out the threads of the part that holds in the delrin piece inside my Grand. CRAP. Has anyone ever just installed a mechanical button in place of the firing pin setup? Not sure if this may be my only way to fix it.

REO Grand with REOMIZER 2.0 - problems

Spring, firing pin, etc, were installed this morning - all are brand new. 1.7-1.8 ohms read from post to post with digital multimeter. I don't normally jam on the button, but once the button melts, obviously you have to press slightly hard to make contact. Same results with multiple...
