I just put my Nova up to my ear to check for a sound.I can hear a very quiet but high pitched sound when powered on.I assume your device also has the AS chip set?

I vape @42 watts on regulated devices with a .48 dual fussed clapton build.I have to agree with other's in the comment section to play around with the wattage until you find your sweet spot.
