IME mechanical mods are better suited for thinner wire (higher resistance draws less current from a cell)
So don't twist your 26g and do try to get that higher resistance reading
when people lower that resistance they're only sacrificing their cell's capacity for a warmer vape. they won't make...
Fear of running out of battery?
About to start playing with a new word
I'm making this up...
Lobaphobia ~ Low Battery Phobia
This experimental term could help separate anxiety of low batteries from the broader classification of nomophobia.
One person who was considering trying smoking, an experienced chewing tobacco user.. ended up getting a brand new in box ehpro KFL+ a big bottle of juice and a 100' roll of 28g kanthal from me :pervy: bundle of encouragement:cool:
Unfortunately had they not had the convenience to ask me about...
I have a deringer clone as well but the afc is too loose for a good tight mtl draw
After digging around more I keep eyeing a Hadaly even though I very much desire a smaller diameter and tight af. It appears to have wire traps as opposed to the usual through post or around/under screw head...
I need a new single coil rda preferably mtl my preference was for smok squid clones but need something that can really clamp and hang onto my coil legs without stripping threads please help
Whew scary soldering and a burned spot that tells quite a story
Nice piece of aluminum otherwise
just make sure to confiscate the previous owners soldering iron:unsure::2c:
not trying to derail it. I thought this was about all tc vaping, maybe a change of title is in order for this thread if this is a device specific discussion.
Another thing that concerns me is how I got pushed away, swept under the rug when looking for help. After all this time I thought I...
Still searching for an answer to my temperature problem.
Were the VTC minis inaccurate?
I've shelved my mech mods after reading here but..
Is this the wrong thread for me?
Should I even be worried about this?:?:
I dug out my deringer thingy and have been fighting with my titanium after delving into one of the other threads. I've since been bundling up and throwing out ....feeeeeet of wire:yawn:
So I decided to try twisting, why note waste more right? ended up with this..
Since I didn't wanna snip it, I...
it's just an old squid RDA clone. That coil ended up being a bit too small inner diameter so I scrapped it :-x
It warmed up so dang fast and I didn't wanna have to resort to vv/vw:lol:
that ribbon is some temco kanthal a-1 annealed flat resistance wire I only tried the 0.1mm thick stuff:thumb:
I ended up trying to wait for "technology to improve" before I bought into the temp control fad and it still didn't help...
Tried many different coils yes perfectly spaced yes perfect wicking the resistance fluctuates when you breathe on the dang ti so I don't think that changes too much.
Singed...
Alright I went and pulled the ti out and tried my VTC mini, again. It's just the same as I remember before shelving it. A very weak vape. I'm even using more wattage... Heck I can turn the wattage up all the way and it doesn't help.
I bet that thing vapes warm with that short chuff cap ..and does it spit?:?:
Looks like too much airflow for my tastes :pervy: too bad too cause I like the name :headbang:
1.) To proove to myself that I could live without that stigmatized substance.
2.) To appease to the overzealous' idealization.
3.) To be a statistical nightmare for those zealots by becoming irrefutable proof myself that this technology can and does work to "escape the grip of tobacco."
