I just got this atomizer (ordered for 29 USD from FT) and build it this first time yesterday. Hey, I solved my problem. It WAS the o ring after all... I think it was a combination of a worn out o ring and dirty threads on the atomizer base ( I only vape NETS in this one and NET juice always has small particles in it) that broke the vacuum inside the tank . Gave it a good clean, replaced...

Guys, I´m having some trouble with one of my doggies these days... it´s a standard SXK doggy styled RTA with 1.5 mm airhole. Problem is I get massive gurgling and lots of juice in the airhole (even flooded once) as soon as the tank is almost empty (lets say 20% filled.). NO problems whatsoever...

I really hope SXK will release a version of this 2K18 with the smaller 1.5 mm hole... this version is too airy for me... Still, very eager to hear your impressions on this, especially if it leaks when top filling...

Uh, I´m confused @rifky ... so your picture shows a real SXK clone of the newly released Animodz doggystyle 2K18 ??? Or is the picture showing the very expensive (160 Euros) original? I can´t believe the clone is out so fast...

Thanks will definitely try that this evening. So far 2 mm coils always gave me the best flavor but maybe this RTA is really different... K.

Mine arrived too. Have to say I´m really impressed with the build quality of this thing. My first build was my standard 2 mm ID "flavor coil" I also use in my doggies: 6-7 wraps of 32 GA simple twisted SS wire, contact coil. Building and wicking is very easy on this thing, thanks to the two...

Thanks for the tip! Was not aware of that one, directly ordered one from FT... that´s what I was always looking for: glass tank, around 4 ml, TOP AIR FLOW, single coil, MTL....

I agree in general about the technical aspects and advantages, but the thing is: whenever I tried spaced coils they had one major drawback for me: they SPIT and POP. I´ve had several very unpleasant encounters with burning hot liquid drops being spit up the chimney onto my palate ... not funny...

Tried a lot of different coil builds too, but always come back to a simple 2mm contact coil, 6 warps with Kanthal A1 28GA...

That´s the "old" V1 version I have with the small wick holes, you just can´t get enough cotton through there to get a good flavor. and that´s the new one with cut-out wick channels that should allow for much more juice to flow.

So tell us new owners, did you all get the NEW version with the open/Ares style wicking channels or the old with the small hole?

Yeah that was me ... unfortunately the AliExpress seller was not able to transfer my (correct) delivery address to the shipping provider NL Post so while it arrived quickly here in Germany around the corner it was then sent back to China because they could not deliver the package... *sigh*...
