@Brewdawg1181 I definitely use the acrylic tanks on a sxk base. They are stress free!!! I think I’ll order a 2k18 at some point too, even though I can refill the 2k16 with my eyes closed (not literally). I’ve just been so happy with the doggy on a pico, I don’t really WANT to buy anything else.

I think the threading on the bases (sxk, sjmy) are the same, it’s the threading on the PC vs Acrylic that make the difference. IMO, the “cloudy” acrylic tanks are WAY easier to get on and off, and just perform better.

Pumpkin Spice Cream @8% solo is pretty tasty. It’s pretty mild, not overly spicy or creamy, just a nice even keeled flavor, with a little bit of sweetness. Made a ry4 & PSC too, 6%/3%, that I’ll try when this tank is done. Not mind blowing, but a nice change of pace.

Mixed up “Grack Juice” with a straight replacement of BRS for INW grape @4%. Also Pumpkin Spice Cream @8% solo, and a small tester of RY4D 7% and Pumpkin Spice Cream @3%. Will try the BRS in a few days, but am going to give all the pumpkin stuff a week +. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

@smoked25years i still don’t get it. I turn my mod upside down, and rotate the tank section freely, and it comes right off the base (that’s still attached to mod). Fill, reattach, easy peasy. The tank BARELY needs to be tightened to the base.

@stols001 from my experience, if you need to put ANYTHING in the air hole to separate the tank from base, you are tightening the tank too much. The acrylic tanks are much easier to get on and off, and only need to be a tiny bit tightened down. Never had any issues after I stopped making it...

@Sugar_and_Spice not making a base anymore, I used to buy it. Now I just have a 8oz bottle of PG, one of VG, and my 100mg nic bottle. I mix each batch using those 3 and flavoring. Just checking if I need to shake plain VG or PG as I’m making my mixes.

@smoked25years i can’t get flavor even CLOSE to the doggy using the galaxies rdta. Tried tons of builds and airflow options, and I just can’t get it there at all. I want a rda to test flavors on, but nothing compares to the airflow and flavor of the doggy. So my testing is just super slow hahaha

I was super skeptical at first about the bottom fill in this RTA. It’s deceptively easy after using it solidly for a few months, and I won’t be buying anything else for a while.

@madstabber i wish you could have known the old mix! I can’t vape the new one, all I get is fake sweetener aftertaste compared to the old.
