    Stop Vaping...?

We left the house to go on an errand run and we were about a half block from the house when I noticed my e-cig was not in my shirt pocket. Oh Noes! Could I have gone 3 hours without vaping. Who knows? Probably. But who wants to find out? We turned around and went back for my e-cig. My wife...

    Stop Vaping...?

Since quitting almost 8 years ago ... I've smoked four cigarettes. About one a year for the first four years of vaping. Just to compare. And ... no comparison. Remember when ads used to talk about the unique flavor of cigarettes? Sure different brands of cigarettes tasted different from each...

Just curious... Why "e-cigarette" in the title?

Why e-cigarettes? Oh ... I dunno. Maybe it's because I smoked cigarettes for 44 years, tried to quit for 36 of those years, and finally finally finally was able to quit by switching over to electronic cigarettes. So the contraction to e-cigarettes didn't bother me in the least. Personally I just...

    Stop Vaping...?

I made the switch from smoking to vaping March 6, 2010. 44 years of smoking ... 36 of those years trying to quit. After a couple of years of vaping I started getting pressure from my Smoke-Nazi cousin about quitting vaping. I assured her I'd stop vaping for good ... a couple of days before my...

Eight years today. :-)) Just gotta toot my own horn!

I know exactly what you mean ... though congratulations anyway. My 8 year anniversary is coming up on March 6th. I was able to switch from a pack a day (often times more) to vaping after my first drag on a "Marlboro" filled carto screwed onto a KR808 battery. No stress ... no strain ... just...

    GAME CHANGER

The Game Changed ... I'm just happily vaping my DIY juice with the gear that's worked perfectly over the last 18 months: the iStick Pico & mini Pegasus with Clapton coils in Triton mini tanks. Two mods, two tanks, two flavors, all day every day.

    GAME CHANGER

Game Changer Part Two - DIY I’m a fairly impatient guy. And cheap. I got tired of postman stalking as my e-liquid supply dwindled. I thought DIY juice would fill the gap. I only vape tobacco flavors. I’ve tried many flavors, impressed by most of them (how did they make juice that perfectly...

    GAME CHANGER

After I tried the Triton Mini tank I wanted (needed) another one. Up here in Canada the prices are somewhat higher than found in the U.S. so ... I hauled out my credit card and bought Aspire's mini Pegasus kit (came with Triton Mini) from MyFreedomSmokes for $34.95 ... the exact price of the...

    GAME CHANGER

Game Changer ??? Hmmmmmm. How 'bout this: In April 2016 I received an iStick Pico. Liked it so much I made a video about it: The next month My wife gave me a Triton Mini tank (with a Clapton coil) for my birthday. That combo has become my "Gold Standard" and I haven't bought anything since...

    Part III: rocVape's Encore Kit

I posted a video about a week ago about the new three e-cigs from rocVape. I rethought it and edited it into three separate videos. Here's Part III: The Encore Kit. And here's where I say ... 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The Encore is essentially the sub ohm version of a 650 mAh ego/evod battery with...

    Part II: rocVape's Origo CVT

I posted a video about a week ago about the new three e-cigs from rocVape. I rethought it and edited it into three separate videos. Here's Part II: The Orogo CVT. No screens/menus ... just 18 watts powering a .5 ohm coil in a tank that's inside the mod. Can an 18 watt device produce a satisfying...

No screens/menus ... just 18 watts powering a .5 ohm coil in a tank that's inside the mod. It was hard to believe that such a small...

3 New Sub Ohm Toys from rocVape.com

One button sub ohm vaping from rocVape. No screens, no menus, just fill 'n vape. I've seen these around but never tried one. Not Bad ... not bad at all. These are the simplest sub ohm starter kits I've ever seen. Can an 18 watt device produce a satisfying vape? I think so. Was I surprised? Yes.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

I'm still using the same $30 POS Harbor Freight USC that I bought 3.5 years ago. I certainly wouldn't be able to vape as much as I do (15-20ml/day) if I didn't DIY. That's my situation too. Still limping along with my Harbor Freight USC and because I'm DIY-ing, can keep my vaping costs under...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

I bought a liter of nic in May 2012 and kept in in the freezer. It took 3 years to use it up. The color slightly darkened but I didn't notice any taste difference in the juice.
