A heavier build coil retains heat more so the tank actually warms up a bit as you are vaping. Just keep the thing in a warm place when you are not vaping.
I've got the 2ml version and I notice that when vaping, the air bubbles get trapped under the build platform, and the more you vape the bigger the trapped air bubble gets. My concern was the air bubble surrounding one of the wick legs and it not being able to wick. Every now and then I have to...
That is not a genuine box. The centre photo which says 'digiglavor' proves it. There is no scratch and check sticker on the bottom either. Mine came in the same box but I noticed the differences. I cant speak for the tank itself.
Hi and welcome. I found it easier to give up smoking using an MTL tank initially. It was more like smoking. I used (and still do) a Nautilus 2 tank. I think if I had started straight on a DTL tank like the one you've got, then I would have found it a lot harder to give up. An MTL tank also...
With my Ammit 25, I always build the coil with a 3.5mm internal diameter. This is because the juice holes on the deck are quite big and 3.5mm dia coil gives you fatter wick tails to fill the juice holes.
There is enough space between the posts, but keep the coil low because it could contact the...
After much messing around with this tank, this is what finally works really well for me:-
Take 3 lengths of 28g kanthal A1 wire. Hold them together and put one end in vice and the other end in the chuck of a variable speed drill. I separate the ends at the chuck so each wire is poking out...
Hi and welcome. Wish I could winter it out in Spain. Lucky you :-)
Liquid State makes lots of different flavours. Can you remember which was the one you liked?
Hi there and welcome. I see you are from Wickes. Shame it's not in Cotton County. Wrong State, never mind. I'm from the UK so don't mind me. Glad you are back. (Even though you left long before I ever came on the scene)...lol
I totally agree. And I apologise for not explaining my point better.
My concern was with the twisted coil not cooling down quickly enough, probably due to it's mass.
When I start vaping from cold, then the mod is giving me the full max wattage I've set for the whole draw which is satisfying...
I'm not familiar with the tank but I would take the atomiser out and compare it with a new one to make sure it has no 'O' rings missing. If all intact, I would screw it back into the base tightly with your fingers. Also check there is a 'O' ring fitted on the chimney where it screws into the top...
Yesterday I built a new dual deck with 3 strand twisted 28g kanthal wire with as tight a pitch as I dare. I made 2 coils with 8 wraps on a 3.5mm former. It comes in at 0.45ohm. It crackles and pops really loudly even after two tanks. (And boy does it go through tanks). It's like a mini firefight...
With a DNA Mod, you can record what's happening using the Device Monitor through EScribe. I guess you can post the file for others to look at and give their opinion of what's going on. All this if you wish to go down the scientific road, otherwise it's 'best guess trial and error.
