Powdered sweeteners in packets all contain fillers that will gunk up your coils really quickly... Saccharine degrades with heat, which is why it's not used in baking. Sugar will definitely kill your coils quickly. The 100% sucralose powder or Ethyl Maltol powder is your best bet for DIY...

I don't know where this "oil" terminology started, but we don't use oil... it's liquid consisting of propylene glycol and/or glycerin, nicotine (optional) and food flavorings (also optional). There is no "oil" involved.

I just recently got two of them, and they've become my new favorite device for out and about... I have a couple of MVPs and a VTR, and love them both, but the portability and performance of these little batteries make them just right for a day at work.
