You should also think about getting a Personal Charging Case, or PCC, this will allow you to charge your batteries even when your nowhere near a power source; a must have!

I started with the Joye 510 starter kit with a personal charging case (pcc). I've since moved on to a boxmod for the more robust battery, I change batteries once a day now. I still think the 510 is a great starting place for someone interested in vaping; pricing on the starter kits does vary...
