Yes I do, I don’t taste the ‘metal’ either way, however Ni80 Ramps a lot quicker than kanthal and that property in itself can bring out differences in juice flavour. Some juices, in my opinion at least, taste/ work better with Ni80 than Kanthal, similarly the other way around is also true.

Yes. I presume it’s just so that the tank can accommodate external airflow and juice control

On tanks that are prone to leaking I find the ‘dam’ method useful - run a decent wick, thin it out into the juice channels but leave it thicker slightly above so that the thicker part essentially sits on top of the juice channels and prevents leakages. It should look like WAY too much cotton...

Absolutely love my prime - I actually ended up ‘customising’ it a little by mirror polishing it: I stick one of my typical builds in there - either 7 wrap 28ga Ni80 or 5 wrap 28ga Kanthal A1 and it works like a dream, especially with the coil around 1.5 Mm from the air hole - lovely.
