    Hcigar Towis Aurora has problems

I don’t own that one but people seem to like it. It has to be different, it just has to. It’s been out for quite a while. If it had even close to the same issue, I’m sure the word would have spread.

    Hcigar Towis Aurora has problems

I also have taken them completely apart. The buttons and the battery slide adaptor are a pain, but it can be done. Just be sure you clean the display and don’t touch it when you’re reassembling. I did that once not paying attention and it’s all together with a big nasty print under the cover. My...

    Hcigar Towis Aurora has problems

I actually tried both of those options and neither worked out for me. I can’t speak for all of the Aurora owners, but that’s my experience. I did the spacer thing and it didn’t solve it. I really thought I had it with the epoxy. It slowed it down, but after about 4 days it was seeping out again...

    Hcigar Towis Aurora has problems

I’ve never replaced a 510, so I really don’t know for sure. I actually threw mine away or I would take one apart and show you. I know I didn’t have any luck going as far as trying to seal things up with silicone. I’m pretty sure you can see what you’ll need to see by just removing the screws on...

    Best single coil RDA

Indeed. Not even sure if you can find that right now. It’s a hot item.

    Best single coil RDA

I saw that too. Maybe someone will say something that makes me jump at some point. Idk. Perhaps I’ll just grab the new one I posted the link to and chase the C4 dragon at another time. I’m just glad there is at least one other person that thinks the C4 beats the Recurve. Not bashing the Recurve...

    Best single coil RDA

It makes the coils drop in easier, but it’s not a total fix for the wires wanting to escape. I’m sure it’ll be a little easier since it will be a more natural feel for the way the coil sets in.

    Best single coil RDA

Great post. Yep, the drip tip thing bugs me too. I definitely like to be able to swap things around and they make that difficult. Also have to reverse wrap in this RDA. So Asmodus has the .Blank and I’ll probably pick it up at some point. Not a ton of reviews yet, but hopefully there will be...

    Your best flavor device?

I want to like the Elder Dragon. I do love the design of the deck, but I’m not in agreement with you on the esthetics. I did see some reviews that praised it for flavor.

    Best single coil RDA

I don’t think I saw one mention of the Asmodus C4. I think I like it even more than the Recurve. It’s not the best looking RDA, but I really like how it performs. I do have the stainless version so that helps hide the weird line business going on.

    Your best flavor device?

Having not yet (but I will soon) stepped into the world of high end, one of my favorites is my Asmodus C4. It’s not the best looking, but I do have the all SS version, so the weird lines are subdued. Flavor is fantastic. Slapped a spaced parallel build in it last night and fell in love all over...

    Keep it Simple

This is SS. I use SS 99% of the time. I know it’s always a debate between spaced or regular. Idk if it's in my head or what, but I’ve always liked the spaced. I did a parallel before this and it was good, but I think this is better.

    Keep it Simple

I think it’s becoming one of my favorite builds. Flavor is excellent. It comes in at .14, which is quite low for my single coil rda’s, but it’s definitely working. It won’t be the last one I throw in, that’s for sure. As it breaks in, it just keeps getting better.

    Hcigar Towis Aurora has problems

Pretty much my same experience. I didn’t exchange though, I just bought 2. The 510 really isn’t the problem though, it’s the seal that “should” separate the 510 from the rest of the mod. Even silicone didn’t stop it. Slowed it, but didn’t stop it. I’ve thrown both of mine away and moved on. All...

    Keep it Simple

So you got me wanting to do a parallel build and I like spaced coils. Stumbled across some older vids on YouTube. You make a 3 strand parallel and pull the most inside wire back out, leaving a nicely spaced coil.

Dual coil on single post technique

And you end up with this. In the pic where they are in the deck, nothing is tightened down or been moved at all. That’s just them dropped in. Tighten down and do whatever little positioning is left. If you’ve built on decks like this, you know it’s a bit of a pain. This makes it pretty easy.

Dual coil on single post technique

From there, give a leg of each coil a 1/4 turn more until you this. You’ll bend a leg down so that both legs are straight down on the same side. I just use the pliers with a light touch so as not to mash up the coil.

Dual coil on single post technique

2 coils wrapped on a coil master jig. One clockwise and the other is counter clockwise.
