It has a spring loaded 510 pin with an insulater around it, then there's a switch spring around that with an insulater over it. The negative end of the battery touches the spring insulater and when I press the button brings the negative end of the battery to touch the 510 pin. The positive...
I like the dreamer best, not done researching yet... I've never used a hybrid mech so gotta learn a bit more... been watching YouTube videos about them, and understand ohms law and battery safety, it will be a while yet before I make the decision. I still have to figure out my Rx Machina, just...
Yeah, I haven't got rubbing alcohol yet to try and clean the switch. I'll try that then I don't know if it doesn't work... I have been looking at other tube mech's like the Timesvape Dreamer and the Vgod elite among others. I really like a tube mech and up until now I have been happy with the Rx...
Yes I watched these last night and I don't usually chain vape so although it gets warm sometimes, this is an issue that just started happening where the button gets way to hot to even vape and just seems unsafe
As far as I can see the switch is just a spring with an insulater over it, and an insulated spring loaded 510 insert, it doesn't seem to have any o rings
Yeah I can't take the switch apart, it's like it was pressed in... nothing I can find anywhere about taking it apart. I've also watched most of the reviews about the Rx Machina on YouTube, but nothing about disassembling the switch... the isopropyl alcohol sounds like a plan
Yes, I have 2 rda's I'm using right now and the coils are premade, both come out on the ohms meter just fine and worked fine on a regulated mod, I'm just getting the hot button on the mech.
I understand that your trying to help no problem :)
I'm starting to think it might be the contacts because they are shiny looking and when mod was new they were matte looking, that's a good idea about the contact cleaner I'll pick some up. This has really got me frazzled, I'm reviewing mooch's Minding your mahs and Minding your mecs videos on...
I can take it apart easily, it's the switch itself that I can't get apart. It looks simple enough but can't figure it out... I'm going to try though, at this point it's broken anyway. I'm interested to see the condition of the spring
I got the "refined" version, I seen these issues with the battery sticking, but from what I understand it was redesigned to allow for better movement, mine moves fine and worked until the last few days it started acting up. I even tried LGH2 18650's in the included adapter and still have the...
There are no wires, it's an Rx Machina mech mod, yes I know the batteries have been downgraded to 25A and the atomizers are @ .27 ohms and .28 ohms each with no shorts, the same atomizers in a regulated mod are only drawing about 12.8A half the recommended amps. I just don't get it... along with...
I love my Rx Machina, it's my favorite mod. But lately it's hitting inconsistent and the button get hot when it does. I cleaned the mod contacts and the battery contacts, and still it's getting hot. My batteries are all fairly new Vapecell Gold 20700's and Golisi S32 20700's with no damage. It...
