I would say it's probably the nicotine. I felt this way when I was vaping 36mg all day. I cut down to 24 and the tongue thing went away. I think I'm going to drop to 18mg soon.

I also think it's high nic levels. I was vaping 36mg pretty much all of the time for a while and eventually my mouth got sore and I lost all taste from vaping. Cut back to 24 and it's better now.

Every few weeks now I want a cig and I smoke one. I actually LOVE the fact that when I want one I can have one and go right back to vaping and none the worse. Without vaping if I had just one after I quit I was off the wagon for good and back to smoking a pack a day.

Thanks for the thread... I too thought my mixes were tasting different than just the nic liquid. I will mix and let sit to see if that helps.

I do know that smoking never made me sick until they put the fire suppressant stuff on them. That was why I switched to vaping. I had really bad headaches and horrible coughing. Everyone I know that still smokes is having symptoms from the carpet glue.
