My local vendor (Fluid Vapor) tested a lot of their in-house flavors and removed any from their menu that contained diacetyl. This happened almost a year ago. They even had a hand-out about it for a while initially. I haven't specifically asked, but they introduced some new flavors very recently...
I was a 2 PAD smoker but my cigarettes were exceptionally light so when I started vaping, even low nicotine felt like a lot. I went from 6mg to 3mg to 1.5mg to zero probably within a month. Been at 0mg ever since. I vape pretty casually now, not constant like I used to.
I'm tobacco-free for...
Same. Eroll got me through initially quitting smoking. Eventually I got less patient with the small tanks (though wish I'd found the "tank pack" sooner!)
Now a-days I use the Ego One posted above. I have the Mini and the Mega. Both are small honestly. And it's a great vape. The tanks can be a...
30ish years of smoking. I was at over 2 PAD. Part of it was I wanted to take better care of myself (which I wish I'd done all along -- LOL)... Part of it was money. What I've saved I was able to buy health insurance.
I quit August 2014, so I'm at almost a year now, cigarette-free :)
I'm also...
The way I disagree with you is that if they aren't widely available as vaping devices, that if tanks can't be sold and you'd have to know to buy a flashlight as one of the parts just to vape, the result is exactly the same; The industry as we know it now dies and advanced vaping products...
About $50ish will get you the eroll starter kit. Get extra tanks, the tank pack, and you're probably closer to $80.
For a larger, lots of vapor easy vape, Ego One. Still small too. And cheap. But it's not a cig-a-like.
ERoll. It's really the only thing that is truly cig-a-like and gives a satisfying vape, with ability to use any flavors you want. Plus it uses tanks, not cartomizers. More than light enough to use hands free and it does light up. It's automatic (no button) and a someone tight draw like a...
Don't get me wrong, personally I think the whole thing is terrible and a crock dreamt up by the tobacco industry because they weren't smart enough to jump on the vaping bandwagon early on. I would hate to see vaping go away.
I try to do the things casaa asks... Hopefully we all do and it will...
I don't disagree with you, but I see it from the other side too. You can start researching vaping and see some pretty cool devices and want to order them well before you encounter warnings or education on batteries.
Good example... I loved how mech mods looked well before I knew anything about...
I have a habit of blowing my vapor up at a sharp angle when I exhale (comes from the days of trying to be a courteous smoker and not blow smoke near people). Occasionally I notice the bottom of my nose feels damp/wet because of it.
Not hard to believe if I were a guy and had a mustache, it...
Except that it's incredibly naive to think this way. If your thinking was correct, Walmart and Target would sell glass bowls and {OTHER STUFF}, because really, the government can't ban glass. (Sorry for referencing drug stuff, but it was just to make this example!)
{MOD.ED. Please make your...
That's my point. On top of it, if you go back and read the link I posted, you'll see it's more likely you get struck by lightning than face real danger with a lithium battery.
What concerns me is that if vaping is increasing the risk a person faces uses a lithium ion battery, than the industry...
I remember smoking in the movie theater. Also the diner. Ahhhh, that after dinner cigarette while still sitting there after a good burger.
I remember my first adult job, smoking at my desk. But there was also a typewriter on said desk. LOL
It's funny, you could pretty much smoke everywhere...
Tobacco flavors never did it for me... They are just an imitation and none are right. Flavors are what helped make real cigarettes start to taste bad, so by default I wanted to do it less and less.
Flavors like coffee, mudflap (mud slide), waffle ... Had a smokey type flavor to me, but tasty...
No, it's not enough. And I already said I changed my mind on batteries themselves... It's the devices that should warn, especially ones that aren't providing any safety features.
And again, haha you're funny, but even what I posted above somewhat proves that most people realize coffee is hot...
You may think it's funny, and sure, haha, I see the humor... But if vaping products are leading to a higher incidence rate of battery failure it's something the community should address. It's bad for all of us if it's seen as "unsafe", and that can mean by more than just what we're inhaling...
