Hello everyone, what brand do you use

    Eleaf mods, Aspire tanks (generally).

    Hi y'all.

I got my kit today. I didn't get Vanilla Custard, but will get that in 2 weeks. I've just done an Ry4 double PFA 100ml 8% to begin with, as I want to experience it as it stands. Deffo going to do your recipe, though (heard good things about the VC).

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

Yes, it says you can adjust the wattage between 1-30, which is perfect for MTL. Temp Control modes are different. Make sure you don't use it unless you know what you're doing, and stick to watts. It looks like a bargain, so snap it up!

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

There's no airflow on the K3, but I find as an all day or novice tank it's just right. Good taste and decent clouds and it even gives me zero hassle when vaping like no tomorrow with a beer :) I highly reccomend them, especially if, like vaper1960 someone is struggling and needs something...

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

Not so much that, more the glass threads around the tank base becoming locked to the base and it being a pain to unscrew without breaking it.

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

I've not tried the Nautilus X, but like the Nautilus mini. However, they aren't that straightforward and can lead to further frustrations, especially flooding and the base locking (I don't know if the X is the same, though). Personally, I'd recommend the Aspire K3 with 1.8 coils. That should...

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

Starting with low wattage really helps to break in coils, and once broken in they are harder to burn out. Just be wary as some models that feature variable wattage don't allow you to start it that low (the iStick 20W, for example, starts at 8W). Anyway, hope that you manage to find something...

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

@vaper1960 the iStick Power 5000 (or seems to be the iPower in the US) has the big battery. The iStick TC40w also has variable wattage.

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

@vaper1960 the eleaf iStick power is a very good mod. It has variable wattage and also has a big internal battery (which should last all day) so you don't need to buy batteries and a charger. If that is too much, just try to look for something from a reputable brand that has adjustable wattage...

Having issues with my Aspire PockeX

It's worth noting that with variable wattage mods, you can gently regulate the power a new atomizer is exposed to. I tend to let a couple of drops of eliquid through each of the round holes on the side of the atty, fill the tank and take a couple of gentle unpowered tokes on it. I then leave it...

    Hi y'all.

Okay, well thanks very much for your help and advice. Going to be a long 3 weeks! :/

    Hi y'all.

I was going to order some of these (E-Liquid Weighing Scale). They come as an add-on for the mixing set. I think they should be okay?

    Hi y'all.

Thanks for that, sounds good! I'd already had RY4 double recommended, so it was on my shopping list. I'll add the Vanilla Custard and give your recipe a go when I order my DIY kit later in the week.

    Can this really be true?

Hi Falconeer. Nice to see you on here. I used to admire your posts on PSF (I was getting major bite till I read through your guides on how to tame a Falcon). Anyway, thanks for the help, really appreciate it.

    Hi y'all.

Thanks very much for your nice welcomes everyone. Look forward to reading more from you all :) @charlie1465 from Yorks but live in Lancs now. I was always aware of the risks of pipe smoking, but didn't cough anywhere near as much as I did a roll up smoker. What i loved most was looking after my...

    Hi y'all.

    Thank you bombastinator :)

    Your preferred wattage.

    Around 11, 14 if I'm drinking.

    Hi y'all.

So, I'm a former cig smoker (around 20 years) and a former pipe smoker (around 7 years). I took to vaping mainly as I don't cough the morning after. I've been doing it around 3-4 years now and mainly use an eLeaf iStick power and a couple of Aspire Skystar's. Love Tobacco juice, not much else...
