What wire on spool to order for DIY coils

I assume you are familiar with the gauge system? It's a weird system: the bigger the number, the thinner the wire. Anyway, to keep things simple, for such tank I'd recommend to start with classic two-core fused claptons, like this for example: $3.24 Authentic XFKM 316L Stainless Steel Fused...

    Geekvapes RTA Zexus X

I am not familiar with Zeus X, still some advices: 1. Comb out the wicks more (Zeus X has really long wicks) 2. Experiment with VG and distilled water - I use 95% VG + 5% water. Beware though that adding more water may result in unpleasant vape, especially on non-bottom airflow. Also the juice...

Dry hits and spitback no matter what I do

First off, try other coils. This RTA is made for coils like fused claptons etc. Tri-core fused clapton should be good, look e.g. for coils with the marking 3*28GA/36GA. $2.73 Ni80 Tri-Core Fused Clapton Pre-Coiled Wire - authentic Coilology / 10pcs/pack / 28*3/36 AWG / 0.32mm*3/0.12mm dia. /...

Wanting to lessen the sweet taste

VG is sweet on its own, but flavors that contain sweeteners will make it even it more sweet obviously. I suggest making own juice with tobacco "absolutes", those are pure tobacco extracts, so in the end with high VG percentage it will be still sweet enough. Adding more PG will reduce sweetnes...

Suggest an RTA for me (switching from drop-ins)

The Arbiter is very good, got it recently and really enjoy it. I don't have many RTAs to compare with, now have only the Intake Dual and I must say the Arbiter has much better flavor. One month with the Arbiter and had no issues. I'd buy few extra bubble glasses for it, tried on fasttech but...

    ........ from vaping?

haha maybe. Jokes aside, I've noticed loosening of the 'substance' so to say, by higher nic consumption. Same was with casual cigarettes as I remember from my past smoker experience.

    ........ from vaping?

What sort of nic do you use? Nicotine has such effect, so more nic = more 'relaxation'.

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

You are right, I'll just buy it. They are so cheap, I think I will order both the Tour and VX200 and see myself what works better for me.

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

It is 142 grams - sure middleweight category i'd say. So it is like VX200 plus 2 18650 batteries.

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

Actually I haven't completely disregarded, maybe I'll try it out. The Tesla Wye 200W is light indeed, but I am not a fan of this RX form-factor. When I hold it in my hand it is ok, but when I fire it is not so comfortable. And the Wye II 200 seems a bit too big. Also really not a fan of...

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

I have a single battery mod Tesla Wye 85, it is great. But it is not enough power, if I put say 50 Watt on dual battery mod, it vapes significantly better than on a single battery at the same wattage. I don't know why this happens, but I've heard it is the same with any single battery mod. I...

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

I'm aware of the Gen, but it is not that light as said, it's 120 grams I think. There are mods like e.g. Digiflavor Lunar which is only 50 grams. So basically Lunar with its minimal features is ok, but it has bad ergonomics.

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

Thanks, not bad! The weight is most important for me though - I'd say it must be at most 80 gramms, ideally less. I'd even sacrifice some features for the weight, say if a mod does not have screen and has only voltage adjustments - it is ok.

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

Yes I was watching reviews about those mods from my list. Most reviews are however kind of unboxing reviews, no much real world testing. But I have seen some negative reviews about Augvape VX200, namely that the connector gets loose. So all in all, for now I am leaning towards Espion Tour. Just...

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

Hi, I have Sony VTC6 batteries and external charger. Now I use Eleaf IKonn with RDAs mostly but nothing too powerful, I think I've never gone higher than 100 Watts. So most of the time it's 50-100 Watt atomizers. VW or VV - doesnt matter and I don't need TC. No special requirements for dust or...

    Lightweight 2x18650 mod?

Hello! I am choosing a lightweight 2x18650 mod, as light as possible. Not a mech! After some research found these options: - Joyetech Espion Tour (ca. 80 gramms) - Augvape VX200 (ca. 65 gr.) - Eleaf Invoke (ca. 80 gr.) There is also Tesla WYE I, but I don't want this form, so I choose only...
